The development of vocational education in China has always been concerned by the state and society.The introduction of vocational education policy documents has further accelerated the reform and development of vocational education.In 2020,the Ministry of Education and other nine departments formulated the "Vocational Education Quality Improvement and Excellence Action Plan(2020-2023)" document,the beginning of the document mentioned that the basic role of secondary vocational education should be strengthened,and the promotion of education and teaching reform should be strengthened.Practical Teaching,especially the stipulation that practical teaching hours should account for more than half of the total hours in principle.Additionally,enterprises put forward requirements for the development of vocational school students’ professional ability,and vocational education personnel training must always be implemented in specific vocational school curriculum teaching.It is imperative to "reform" into the teaching of professional courses.Only by reasonably arranging the implementation of theoretical teaching and practical course teaching and grasping the quality of course teaching can we meet the requirements of two-way training of professional ability and comprehensive quality.The "Convention and Exhibition Foundation" course,as the second-year core course of the high-star hotel operation and management major of G Secondary Vocational School,is a highly integrated course of skill operation and theoretical learning.,with pertinence and development.This research focuses on the course teaching design under the actionoriented teaching,investigates the teaching status of the "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" course and discovers the problems of teaching design.Through walking into the real classroom teaching of "Exhibition Fundamentals",conducting interviews with teachers of professional courses,and conducting a questionnaire survey among highstar hotel operation and management students who have studied "Exhibition Fundamentals" course,it is found that there are teaching objectives set by teachers before class and different types of teaching objectives.Inconsistent teaching implementation,vague teachers’ understanding of action-oriented teaching,imperfect teaching evaluation link and single evaluation method,and students’ active learning awareness need to be strengthened.In addition,the author fully analyzes the practical content,the existing class schedule and learning tasks of the "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" course,and finds that the introduction of action-oriented teaching is in line with the school’s "three powers" classroom construction and course teaching goals,and the application of action-oriented teaching to Course teaching design is necessary and possible.Therefore,a comprehensive analysis of the course textbook of "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" is conducted,and six major learning projects are summarized.There are specific tasks and activities under the project tasks.The teaching design of the "Convention and Exhibition Foundation" course under the action-oriented teaching follows the student-centered principle,the task-leading principle,the systematic organization principle,the clear teaching goal principle and the teacher’s auxiliary principle,and analyzes the characteristics of learners,teaching goals,teaching content,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation.The teaching design is carried out based on the core content of the "Exhibition Fundamentals" course project 3-"exhibition on-site service" task,presenting concrete,feasible and effective action-oriented teaching design cases,focusing on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive professional ability,and improving their majors Course teaching quality.
