Key competence is the further research and subdivision of professional competence in "Revitalization Skills" by the research group of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of China.Key competence plays an important role in the current and future development of practitioners.It is a comprehensive ability formed by continuous accumulation,gradual optimization and integration of the practitioners themselves in their jobs.It has certain portability,flexibility and sustainable development,and this ability will accompany the practitioners for life and will not be affected by career changes.At present,the party and the state clearly put forward that "the cultivation of key competence to meet the requirements of the time should be integrated into the teaching process of students "professional basic theory and professional skills".Therefore,the relevant contents of key competence cultivation should be added to the teaching design of professional courses in middle and high vocational schools,and the cultivation work of key competence should be practically integrated into the teaching of professional courses.However,at present,the students of hotel-related majors who graduated from middle and high vocational schools have not achieved satisfactory results in their jobs.This phenomenon reflects that the training of key competence has not been integrated into the teaching of specific professional courses in middle and high vocational schools,or there is a difference between the key competence highlighted in the teaching of professional courses and the actual key competence required by hotels.In this paper,the room service course of a tourism management and service major and a high-star hotel operation and management major in Nyingchi Vocational and Technical School in Tibet is taken as the research object.Based on key competence,the situation of the teaching design of the room service course is studied by means of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,and the four problems,including unscientific location of teaching objectives of courses,unreasonable setting of contents of the courses,improper teaching approaches of the courses and imperfect design of teaching examination and evaluation of the courses and their causes in the teaching design of the room service course in Nyingchi Vocational and Technical School are analyzed.In view of these problems,this paper puts forward four teaching design optimization countermeasures of the room service course,namely,attaching importance to the integral cultivation of key competence in the teaching objectives of the course,matching the teaching contents of the course with actual job requirements,adopting a teaching method of simulating the working situation,and establishing a robust and perfect course teaching evaluation system.The research of this paper is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part mainly summarizes and analyzes the connotation of key competence,course teaching design and key competence standard.The second part studies the theoretical basis of the course teaching design mainly from three aspects,including competency-based education theory,all-round development theory and teaching design theory,and puts forward the key competency requirements of secondary vocational education.The third part analyzes the current situation of the design optimization of the room service course in Nyingchi Vocational and Technical School on the basis of the key competency by mainly adopting questionnaire survey and interview.The fourth part analyzes the gap between the key competence of students cultivated by the school,the key competence requirements of secondary vocational education and the talents actually needed by hotels based on investigation and statistical results of the current situation,so as to analyze the possible problems existing in the teaching design of the room service course in Nyingchi Vocational and Technical School.The fifth part analyzes the causes according to the problems of the teaching design of the room service course in Nyingchi Vocational and Technical School on the basis of the key competency,and puts forward the corresponding optimization countermeasures for the course teaching design.
