In our country,the higher vocational education is moving towards the higher quality development stage,and the question of the quality of personnel training becomes the social public’s concern.Learning quality evaluation with learning input as the core has become the focus of higher vocational education in recent years.This study comprehensively uses the research methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and data analysis to sort out the theoretical basis of vocational students’ learning engagement,construct the framework of influencing factors of learning engagement,explore the influencing mechanism of various influencing factors on learning engagement,and devote to propose optimization strategies for improving vocational students’ learning engagement.Based on the systematic review of previous studies,this study defines the basic connotation and structural elements of higher vocational students’ learning involvement.Based on the theory of college influence and the theory of cultural capital,it constructs a research framework that includes individual factors,family factors and college factors influencing vocational students’ learning involvement.Based on the mature questionnaires such as the Questionnaire on the Learning and Development of Chinese College Students,the Questionnaire on the Learning Situation of National College Students,and the Chinese Version of the Family Environment Scale,the Questionnaire on the Learning Involvement and Influencing Factors of Vocational College Students was revised and formed.This study takes freshmen and sophomores from four higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province as the survey objects to carry out an empirical investigation on the learning involvement of higher vocational students and its influencing factors.The research conclusions are as follows: First,the learning involvement of higher vocational students is at an above average level,and the development of all dimensions is unbalanced.Second,individual factors have significant influence on vocational college students’ learning involvement.Higher vocational students’ learning engagement has significant differences in gender,residence and other preconditions.There are remarkable differences in self-ascription characteristics of learning motivation and academic planning.Third,family cultural capital has a significant positive impact on higher vocational students.Compared with institutionalized family cultural capital,objectified family cultural capital and concretized family cultural capital have a greater impact.Fourthly,the factors of colleges and universities are the most critical factors that affect the learning commitment of higher vocational students.Compared with college type,college support has more effect on vocational college students’ learning involvement.College support,such as effective teaching,interpersonal interaction,hardware facilities and college atmosphere,has a significant positive effect on learning involvement.Based on the above survey results,the influences of factors influencing higher vocational students’ learning engagement are analyzed as follows: individual factors are the basic factors of higher vocational students’ learning engagement;Family factor is the symbiotic factor of vocational college students’ learning involvement.College factor is the key factor of higher vocational students’ learning involvement;Finally,based on the relevant subjects of higher vocational students’ learning input,the multi-subject optimization strategy is put forward: based on the level of learners,mobilize endogenous motivation,improve learning interest;Pay attention to academic planning,clear self-positioning.Based on the family level,maintain moderate education expectations,pay attention to children’s growth;Pay attention to family education input to create a harmonious atmosphere;Strengthen the coordination between home and school to form a concerted effort to educate people.Based on the level of higher vocational colleges,pay attention to individual differences,implement classification guidance;Promoting teaching reform and innovating classroom teaching;Enhance interpersonal interaction,promote learning communication;Improve the hardware facilities,create a good environment;Create college atmosphere,embed culture education.
