| Compared with the operations mainly based on mental work,the physical activity of physical labors is more frequent,and the various parts of the body have more opportunities to exercise.Therefore,it is generally believed that the physical condition of the manual workers is relatively well,no need for extra physical activity or fitness.In fact,due to the long hours of physical work and the frequent single repetitive movements during the operation,the operator’s local limbs are often overused.Cumulative damage can easily develop.In the long run,local muscles and joints of workers may experience persistent and difficult to relieve pain symptoms,resulting in so-called Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders(WMSDs),which seriously affect workers’ health and work efficiency,and even cause work-related accidents.Scientifically intervening and controlling occupational diseases of manual laborers and enhancing the physical quality of laborers is an important part of the outline of the National Health Plan.Due to the lack of correct fitness concepts,lack of sufficient fitness time,and lack of sufficient fitness venues,the motivation and conditions for the participation of physical laborers in China are obviously insufficient.If in the process of manual labor,through scientific means,manual laborers can not only complete work safely and efficiently,but also carry out fitness exercises,so that they have the dual attributes and characteristics of “homework” and “fitness” at the same time.Transform manual labor into a safe,healthy and economical activity.This can not only effectively prevent and reduce WMSDs,but also help manual workers complete or partially complete fitness exercises while working,and achieve multiple goals such as fitness,time,economy,and efficiency.This paper takes the common WMSDs of physical labors as the research perspective,and takes express sorting personnel as the research object.Through literature research,questionnaire survey and field visits,this paper investigates the labor intensity and the incidence of WMSDs of some sorting workers in express operation site.The study finds that there are differences in the labor intensity level of sorting personnel in different genders,and the overall prevalence of WMSDs in sorting workers exceeded 60%.Afterwards,the MOX Suit motion capture equipment and JACK human simulation software are used to collect data on the operation process of the sorting workers,and static and dynamic simulations are carried out to evaluate the stress on the lower back,the comfort of the upper limbs and the operation movements.The results show that the waist of the sorting staff is large forward,and the frequent movements of the hands cause the upper limbs to be in an uncomfortable state.The joint angles of the upper arms,elbows,and knees are quite different from the Mode value.In order to solve the problems existing in the sorting operation and enhance the physical quality of the sorting personnel,this paper re-arranges the work and rest time of the sorting personnel through the work-rest scheduling model,and conducts a fitness design for the sorting operation,that is,the body stretching exercise is introduced in the rest interval,and the results show that the physical fitness of the sorting personnel are significantly improved.This study provides a scientific basis for preventing WMSDs caused by physical labor,improving the physical quality of physical laborers,and providing theoretical support for the research and transformation of physical labor fitness. |
