A Study On The Construction Of Social Support Network For "Migratory Bird Mothers"

In recent years,along with the high-quality and rapid development of China’s economy,the size of the elderly floating population has also increased year by year and reached new highs repeatedly.According to the 2018 Report on the Development of China’s Floating Population released by the National Health Commission,from2000 to 2015,the number of elderly floating population increased from 5.03 million to 13.04 million.According to a survey on the reasons why the elderly move,as many as 43 percent of them move to take care of their grandchildren,and the female group is called "migrating mothers".The overall lack of social resources of "migratory mothers" leads to their weak psychological tolerance and low quality of life.As a working mode of social support,the construction of social support network can better realize the integration of resources.Therefore,how to effectively integrate the social resources owned by "migratory mother birds" is the starting point of the construction of social support network,and also reflects the basic idea of helping people and helping themselves in social work.In order to help "mothers of migratory birds" solve the dilemma due to the lack of social support network,this study takes "mothers of migratory birds" in A community of S City as an example to intervene,upholds the socialist core values and adheres to the guidelines of professional values of social work,and studies the dilemma and causes of social support of "mothers of migratory birds" through participatory observation and interview.By carrying out group activities and community activities,we can cooperate with community workers to carry out targeted services,effectively connect formal and informal resources with service objects,help service objects build friendly social support networks,so as to enhance the breadth and intensity of instrumental and expressive support,and find and solve problems in the process of practical intervention.Explore the construction path of social support network.In the process of building a social support network for "migratory mother birds",the research found that how to obtain the trust of the service object,how to build a social support network and other aspects are worthy of in-depth research.The author concluded that the intervention of social work can effectively construct formal and informal social support networks for "migratory bird mothers",and the construction of social support networks has a positive effect on the improvement of instrumental and expressive support and the use of social support for "migratory bird mothers".At the level of formal social support,it can strengthen community support for "migratory mother birds",solve the problem of lack of instrumental support,and construct formal social support network.At the level of informal social support,it can promote the existing family support,construct new peer group support,solve the problem of lack of emotional support,empower the service object,strengthen and enhance self-value,and realize the construction of social support network in an all-round way.
