With the development of The Times and the progress of disciplines,art education has been attached importance,and knowledge and information are increasingly diversified.Looking at the development direction of music education in today’s China,it takes aesthetic education as the core and combines multi-disciplinary integration.Thus,art educators can learn more about Chinese folk music culture,and use its elements and connotations to give full play to the value of diversity in the practice of art education.Against this backdrop,we should not only inherit and carry forward the fine traditional culture,but also absorb the advanced concepts of foreign civilization.At the same time to update the classroom teaching model and method to guide teaching,expand students’ vision,improve the efficiency and quality of teaching.In 2022,the Party’s 20 th National Congress put forward the goal of providing education to the satisfaction of the people,clearly emphasized the essential function and true value of education,and began to consider,at the national level,in a more in-depth and systematic way,the most fundamental question of education: "whom to train,how to train,and for whom to train."The Orff Teaching Method is one of the most influential teaching methods in the world.Since it was introduced into China in the 1980 s,the teaching method has had a far-reaching influence and has been beneficial to this day.Up to now,the Orff Teaching Method has been studied and explored in detail,but there is still a lack of relevant research on the implementation of traditional music education based on the localization of teaching method.By searching for literature,reading books,and researching outstanding teaching cases,this article focuses its research perspective on the innovation of teaching models in primary school music classrooms,drawing on the concept of the Orff teaching method,and conducting practical exploration and research on localized music teaching.At the same time,the Orff Teaching Method is applied in the primary school music classroom,which enriches the primary school music education system,enhances the students’ musical creativity,and makes the primary school music classroom more vivid and interesting.So that students can devote themselves to the class,personally experience and feel the music,learn to learn music at the same time develop the ability of creative thinking.In Chinese primary school music classroom,music teachers lack attention in the localization teaching of traditional music education,and there are few teaching contents about traditional music in music textbooks.In the course of teaching,Orff Teaching Method should be used for reference in order to highlight students’ subjectivity and teachers’ dominance.The teaching content of traditional music culture should be properly added into the teaching material,so that students can feel,understand and experience the charm of traditional music culture independently and actively,and make Orff Teaching Method more localized.
