In today’s world with the trend of globalization and pluralism,the issue of education localization has been paid more and more attention to,especially by developing countries.Under these circumstances, the music education theory and practice of our country are faced with the important issue of building up a music education system with national and plural characteristics.Orff music didactics, one of the three most world-famous modern music didactics systems, focuses on cultivating all-round personality,initiative and creativity,has been highly praised and loved by music educationalists worldwide and welcomed by children because of its liveliness and diverse teaching forms and strategies, making it widely spread. At the beginning of the 1980 s,it was introduced into China by music educationalists represented by Liao Naixiong.This has made our country connected with the world at the beginning of the music teaching reform and it has developed quickly,greatly promoting the reform..This paper attempts to stand on the perspective of Orff pedagogy, on the current status quo of Xinjiang early childhood music education for reflection and analysis.In practice, teaching focused on building local adaptation of Xinjiang early childhood music education Orff pedagogy.The paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the Orff Approach and its main characteristics and the necessity of Orff Approach in Xinjiang in early childhood music education, based on the literature,combing the basic theory and main characteristics of Orff pedagogy introduced Orff teaching method in China’s localization process, which describes the characteristics of Orff pedagogy is the focus of this part;The second chapter is the interpretation of the survey,based on the status of music education in Xinjiang children; the third chapter analyzes the Xinjiang children sound education problems and their causes; fourth chapter Research and Thinking himself,combining teaching Orff the theory and method of early childhood music education in Xinjiang from government support, several aspects of investment in education,teacher training and curriculum resources development, propose appropriate measures localization.
