Preschool connection is a smooth transition process between preschool education and primary education.Whether the school preparation is scientific and adequate affects whether children can successfully complete their studies.At the same time,mathematics education is an important part of kindergarten education and primary education,and the level of its connection is an important observation point to investigate the connection between children and children.In order to understand the current situation of children’s math readiness for school,this study took 112 senior class children from D Kindergarten in Hantai District as the research object,and investigated the content of math readiness for school,including number operation,observation and comparison,graph combination,direction and position,logical reasoning,time sequence and math learning quality.By means of quantitative and qualitative research methods,this paper investigates the development status of mathematics school readiness of children in large classes.The results show that the children in D kindergarten have obvious differences in the quality of math learning,the children’s number operation ability is relatively behind the singing number ability,the children’s comparative understanding of quantity is insufficient,the children lack classification consciousness,most children can divide the space area with self-centered,the children lack of reasoning ability,the children lack of understanding of the concept of time.The influencing factors mainly come from kindergartens,preschool teachers and parents.Suggestion:First,teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of children’s mathematical logical thinking ability and learning quality.In terms of teaching objectives,it coordinates the relationship among cognition,skill,attitude and emotion.In terms of teaching content,it combines mathematics knowledge with daily life to enrich the content of mathematics entrance preparation education.In the form of teaching organization,flexible use of a variety of organizational forms to carry out mathematics activities.Second,kindergarten should strengthen the emphasis on mathematics education and teaching.Adhere to the young two-way connection,improve the coordination mechanism;Increase the training of mathematics theory and skills for teachers to prepare for school;Strengthen the research and guidance of the school preparation evaluation system.Thirdly,parents should correctly understand children’s mathematical school preparation and establish a scientific concept of children’s school preparation.The quality of mathematics teaching is improved through home co-education,and children’s learning characteristics and psychological development level are respected,so that children can perceive the usefulness and interest of mathematics in life.
