As an important vehicle for the implementation of moral education,the high school chemistry curriculum contains rich resources for ideology and politics.The imposition of ideology and politics in the Chemistry curriculum at senior secondary level facilitates the establishment of a synergistic effect and construct the three-in-one education mechanism,in line with the reform of ideological and political education in the new generation,the significance of developing the study of teaching of ideology and politics in high school chemistry curriculum cannot be overstated.Based on literature analysis,this study investigated the current situation of ideological and political teaching in the first year chemistry course of some senior one chemistry teachers and some students in Hanzhong H Middle School,and found that the first year chemistry teachers had a low degree of understanding of the ideological and political concept of the curriculum,which was mainly manifested in the fact that the first year chemistry teachers did not understand the connotation of curriculum ideology and politics,nor did they understand the content of curriculum ideology and politics.The level of ideological and political value development of high school students is low,especially the two dimensions of scientific literacy and moral character in the ideological and political system of high school chemistry courses.Through text analysis,the ideological and political element system of high school chemistry course was constructed,and the presentation characteristics of ideological and political elements in the high school chemistry course standards and the compulsory textbooks of the People’s Education Edition were sorted out,found the ideological and political elements contained in the standard of ordinary high school chemistry courses and the compulsory textbooks of the People’s Education Edition were rich,and the penetration of ideological and political elements was biased,and the ideological and political elements in the textbooks were presented in a variety of ways,with a total of 17 connection methods,among which activity-compliance and practice-compliance were the most.Based on the results of the current situation survey and the analysis of the teaching materials,the two sections of sodium and its compounds and iron and its compounds were selected for the practical study,and the impact of the teaching of ideology and politics in the chemistry curriculum on students was analysed through interviews and unit test results.The assessment shows that integrating curriculum ideological and political education into chemistry courses can help enhance students’ interest in learning chemistry and improve students’ chemistry scores.The ideological and political teaching of chemistry courses is conducive to improving the development level of students’ ideological and political values,and the ideological and political literacy of students’ scientific literacy and moral character has been comprehensively developed.Based on the analysis of the text and the practice of teaching ideology and politics in chemistry courses,three suggestions are made for front-line chemistry teachers to implement ideology and politics teaching in chemistry courses: to master the rules of ideology and politics infiltration by relying on the layout features of the teaching materials;to show ideology and politics resources in a dynamic way by relying on the way ideology and politics elements are linked;and to design teaching activities by relying on the layout columns of the teaching materials. |
