Research On The Construction Of High-level Basketball Teams In Colleges And Universities Of Shaanxi Province Under The Background Of Sports And Education Integration

Under the background of "integration of sports and education",high-level basketball teams in universities have been highly valued by the Party Central Committee as an important position in promoting the deep integration of school sports and competitive sports.On September 21,2020,the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Sport jointly issued the "Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Sports and Education to Promote the Healthy Development of Teenagers",which clearly proposed to optimize the construction of high-level basketball teams in universities from the aspects of enrollment system,athlete cultural education,training competitions,team guarantee,and teacher team construction.This research uses the methods of literature review,interview,questionnaire,field survey,mathematical statistics,and takes the overall construction of high-level basketball teams,coaches,athletes,and team security as the starting point to investigate the current situation of the construction of high-level basketball teams in colleges and universities in western Shaanxi Province under the background of "sports and education integration",in order to dig out the existing problems in the construction process,and according to policy guidance,Propose strategies for the construction of high-level basketball teams in universities that are suitable for the situation in Shaanxi Province,providing certain reference and reference for relevant departments in the province to formulate management plans for the construction of high-level basketball teams in universities.Research results:(1)Three universities in Shaanxi Province only recruit teams through the assessment method of recruiting high-level athletes,with a single enrollment form.With the 2024 enrollment policy reform,the problem of student source for the three universities needs to be solved.(2)The overall competitive level of high-level basketball players in Shaanxi Province’s universities is relatively low,with a relatively short training period.They have achieved some results in talent transfer,but the overall number of transfer personnel is still rare.(3)The employment of high-level basketball team coaches in Shaanxi Province’s universities is mainly based on the appointment of teachers on campus,and the work style of coaches is not standardized and the training frequency is relatively low.(4)High level basketball team athletes from universities in Shaanxi Province mostly study in non physical education majors and have poor adaptability to their majors;In terms of school management,high-level athletes are entitled to unreasonable policies such as deduction of competition credits and exemption from classes.(5)Shaanxi Province has achieved preliminary results in promoting the integration of basketball tournament resources,but high-level athletes still participate less frequently each year,and tournament resources have not yet been popularized.(6)The funding for high-level basketball teams in provincial universities mostly comes from school funding,with a single form;The sports system and education system have not yet formed a guarantee system of "training research guarantee".Suggestion:(1)Universities in Shaanxi Province should rely on the high-quality faculty and teaching and training level of the school to establish a sports training major,and form a high-level basketball team through a combination of high-level sports team enrollment and sports training major enrollment.(2)Universities in Shaanxi Province should strengthen communication and cooperation with primary and secondary schools and traditional sports schools both inside and outside the province,sign reserve talent transfer agreements,and jointly build basketball reserve talent training bases.(3)Strictly control the quality of students and gradually improve the cultural performance and sports level requirements of athletes;Standardize the setting of admission majors to ensure that athletes achieve success in their studies;Strengthen learning and training management,and balance learning and training.(4)Universities should strengthen the introduction of outstanding talents,improve the system for hiring coaches,and jointly cultivate coaches by the sports and teaching departments.(5)Increase the investment of resources in the overall and teaching system,and include its construction funds in the category of competitive sports funds to safeguard the construction of high-level basketball teams in universities.(6)The education system and the Student Sports Association form inter school sports leagues based on the region where the university is located,and regularly hold league exchange matches.Secondly,it is recommended that the Shaanxi Student Sports Association do a good job in assessing the star rating of players.Before major competitions,the Student Sports Association can hold elite selection matches,and select five-star and four-star athletes to form a training team to represent Shaanxi in the competition,to popularize competition resources.(7)A leading group for the construction of high-level basketball teams in universities,with the participation of three-dimensional and teaching teams,will study and formulate specific measures for the construction,and collaborate to solve contradictions and obstacles in the progress.
