Research On The Current Situation And Development Countermeasures Of After School Swimming Activities In Xi’an High Tech Zone Primary School

In March 2017,the General Office of the Ministry of Education proposed to play the role of the school as the main channel to provide after-school services for students in the Guiding Opinions on Doing a Good Job in after-school services for primary and secondary students,and put forward requirements for after-school services.In September of the same year,the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Educational System and Mechanism emphasized that after-school services are in-school education and should provide a variety of after-school services to meet the physical and mental development of students and the needs of parents.In 2021,the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Students’ Homework and Off-school Training in Compulsory Education clearly pointed out that we should improve the quality of after-school services and expand after-school service channels.As an extension of in-school education,swimming after-school service conforms to the national requirements for after-school service since 2009,enriches the after-school service content,meets the practical needs of parents and students,and is an in-school education to cultivate students’ interest in learning,promote personality development,and improve core literacy.At the same time,some primary schools in Xi’an High-tech Zone have built several new swimming pools,which meet the national requirements in terms of policy,and added inschool swimming pools in terms of environmental facilities,enabling the after-school swimming services in primary schools to be realized,and greatly increasing the reliability and safety of swimming popularization.At present,the swimming after-class service of primary school in Xi’an Hi-tech Zone not only conforms to the policy requirements,but also has sufficient space conditions for development.Taking the after-school swimming service in the primary school of the in-school swimming pool built in Xi’an Hi-tech Zone as the research object,using the methods of literature,questionnaire,field survey and mathematical statistics,the author conducted a survey on the second primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the twelfth primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the fifteenth primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the twenty-first primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the twenty-second primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,and the twenty-third primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone The twenty-sixth primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the twenty-seventh primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the twenty-eighth primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone,the thirtieth primary school of Xi’an Hitech Zone,and the thirty-first primary school of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone have conducted a field survey of the swimming pool environmental facilities of these 11 primary schools.From the three aspects of service infrastructure,service process and final service effect,the teachers who serve as after-school swimming services The parents of the students who participated in the after-school swimming service conducted a questionnaire survey.The purpose is to find out the problems existing in the development of swimming after-class services in primary schools in Xi’an High-tech Zone,and finally put forward the methods and implementation strategies to improve swimming after-class services in primary schools in Xi’an High-tech Zone,and provide a reference basis for other schools in Xi’an that have the conditions to carry out swimming after-class services and are preparing or developing swimming after-class services.The research results show that the existing problems of after-school swimming service in primary schools in Xi’an Hi-tech Zone include: the area of individual in-school swimming pools is insufficient,and a large number of in-school swimming pools may not meet the afterschool service needs in the future;Inadequate construction of swimming pool facilities in primary schools of Xi’an Hi-tech Zone;The content,objectives and assessment objectives of the after-school swimming service for the junior students are unreasonable;The sex ratio of swimming teachers is unbalanced,the salary is not paid in time,and the staff mobility is large.The optimization measures for the after-school swimming service in primary schools in Xi’an Hi-tech Zone include: improving the efficiency of swimming pool utilization in all schools,and reasonably planning the use time of swimming pool;Increase the construction of swimming pool supporting facilities and strengthen the maintenance of supporting facilities;Reduce the practical requirements for swimming activities of the first and second grade students,and increase the competition and interesting activities appropriately;Timely pay swimming teachers’ salaries to promote the employment of excellent swimming teachers.
