| Frustration education is an educational activity that aims to cultivate the psychological health of young people and urge them to establish a correct view of frustration.However,it is not uncommon for young people to lose hope in life,lose vitality or even injure or kill themselves because they cannot accept frustration in social news,which shows that the development of frustration education in China is not optimistic.The language subject,as a basic subject,has to further optimize its education program as emphasized in the Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),so it is a necessary mission of its teaching nature to undertake frustration education.In this paper,based on the unified version of the language textbook,we will use a questionnaire to find out the current situation of frustration among junior high school students,collect front-line teachers’ experience in frustration education and summarize the shortcomings,and propose practical and operable strategies for frustration education penetration.The thesis is divided into four parts:The introductory section provides an overview of the reason for choosing the topic,the significance of the study,the current situation of frustration education and language teaching,and the research method.In the first chapter,the two core concepts of "frustration" and "frustration education" are defined,and the educational values of frustration in terms of cognition,testing and motivation are explored.The second chapter discusses the significance of integrating frustration education with language teaching from the perspectives of strengthening the educational role of language subjects,widening the boundaries of language teaching materials,and building a harmonious society,so as to lay a solid foundation and clarify the overall tone of the study.The second chapter focuses on the exploration of the meaning of frustration in the "Unified Edition" junior high school language textbooks,sorting out the characteristics of a wide range of content,a complete and systematic structure,and a deep meaning that needs to be explored,followed by categorizing the relevant selected texts according to their themes,mainly containing five categories: the emotional support of the mountain and the water,the personality leadership of the strength of the example,and the spiritual comfort of the deep friendship,The second is to categorize the selected texts according to their themes,which mainly include five categories: the emotional support of beautiful mountains and water,the personality guidance of role models,the spiritual comfort of deep friendship,the active exploration of the meaning of life,and the outstanding pursuit of ambitious ideals.Chapter 3 analyzes the current situation of frustration education.By designing questionnaires,the problems in the actual teaching situation are analyzed and attributed based on the groups of students and teachers,respectively.The problems focus on the imbalance between the supply and demand of frustration education between educators and recipients,and the lack of sensitivity and development of frustration implication on both sides of teaching.At the teacher level,the causes are subjective neglect and resistance to objective reality.In Chapter 4,the following improvement strategies are proposed from the perspectives of teaching philosophy and teaching methods in the light of the existing problems in the current situation of frustration education penetration: breaking the decadent and solitary concept,establishing the sense of commitment and collaboration;teaching frustration education through text selection,diversion frustration education through post-reading writing,and multilateral frustration education through multi-panel linkage,in order to provide reference for front-line language teachers’ education and teaching.The purpose of this study is to provide reference for front-line language teachers. |
