| The Language Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education proposes to stimulate students’ interest in reading,let them read more,read good books,read whole books,cultivate good reading habits,and accumulate experience in reading whole books.This shows that reading is very important.Masterpieces are a precious spiritual and cultural heritage with great influence on personal growth and national development,and they are good materials for students to read.The content of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces" in the unified version of junior high school language textbooks is classic,rich and relevant,and the structure of the text is arranged from shallow to deep,with multiple sections and reasonable positions."Guided Reading" can help students improve their reading and writing skills and enrich their humanities literacy.However,the actual situation of "guided reading" teaching is not optimistic.In this paper,we take the unified version of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces" as the starting point,investigate the current situation of teaching "Guided Reading of Masterpieces" through questionnaires and interviews,and analyze some problems of current teaching of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces".We also analyzed some of the current problems of "guided reading",explored the root causes of the problems,and proposed countermeasures to improve the quality of "guided reading" teaching.We hope to provide ideas for the teaching practice of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces".The main text is divided into four parts:The introductory part introduces the source of the topic,the significance of the study,the current situation of the study,and briefly explains the research idea and research method of this paper,while clarifying some important concepts,such as "the teaching of guided reading of masterpieces".The second part is an overview of the unified version of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces".firstly,we analyze the "Guided Reading of Masterpieces" textbook of the Unified Edition in the context of the structural arrangement and content characteristics of the selected texts.It also discusses the teaching value of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces" in three aspects: improving students’ reading ability,writing ability and humanistic literacy.In the third part,we used questionnaires and interviews to study the current teaching situation of the unified version of "Guided Reading of Masterpieces",and analyzed the problems and causes.The analysis reveals that students have superficial interest in reading,single reading method,lack of reading integrity,unscientific reading habits,and short reading time and quantity,while teachers have strong utilitarianism,solid teaching methods,fragmented teaching contents,and single teaching evaluation.The reasons for these situations include teachers’ lack of deeper interpretation of masterpieces,students’ weak ability to grasp masterpieces as a whole,the effect of test-taking education on the teaching of masterpieces reading,and the disintegration of students’ masterpieces reading by modern Internet movies and TV.Part Ⅳ proposes corresponding strategies from three aspects to address the above problems.They are integrating teaching resources to stimulate students’ interest in reading,improving teaching methods to develop students’ reading ability,and enriching teaching evaluation to improve students’ motivation in reading.The concluding part summarizes the main ideas of the thesis. |
