Research On The Meal Service Project Of Community Elderly Restaurant Assisted By Social Work

Today,with the acceleration of population aging,the elderly have an increasingly high demand for various socialized pension services,one of which is the dining demand of the elderly.In order to better meet the dining needs of the elderly and allow the elderly to enjoy safe and secure meal assistance services at their doorsteps,local governments have begun to actively promote meal assistance projects for the elderly.Thus,a social welfare organization initiated by the community and established in cooperation with the person in charge of the restaurant to meet the dining needs of the elderly was born ?--Restaurant for the elderly.In recent years,all over the country are actively exploring methods and experiences conducive to the development of community restaurants for the elderly,which has also improved the development level of restaurants for the elderly to a certain extent.However,by consulting relevant literature and reports,it is found that there are still many problems in the catering service of restaurants for the elderly.This paper takes the elderly restaurant as the research object,relies on the project practice of the elderly restaurant assisted meal service with the help of social work,and researches the project.In combination with the project participation,it is found that the social work assisted meal service project has irreplaceable advantages,but it is also found that the project has problems such as the lack of professional supervision of front-line social workers,the risk of formalization of project services,and the ethical dilemma caused by resource constraints and the conflict between client self-determination and intervention limits.Through the analysis of the problems and causes of the social work-assisted meal assistance service project,this paper puts forward optimization suggestions such as improving the long-term supervision mechanism of social workers and clarifying the relationship between the power and responsibility of social work organizations in the project,and draws the following conclusions: social work has played a positive role in the project,social work has institutional limitations in the project,and the "1+3+X" meal assistance service model is worthy of promotion and application.At the same time,in view of this project research,it also reflects on the project’s assisting method,evaluation method,implementation process and ethical issues.
