Senior primary school students are in the transition stage from childhood to adolescence,especially in the aspect of sports learning interest.Due to the gradually obvious differences in gender and physical signs,the germination of self-consciousness is gradually strong,and the pressure on academic performance is gradually increasing.The overall interest of senior primary and secondary school students in sports learning shows a gradual downward trend.Therefore,it is of great research value to cultivate the interest in PE learning of senior primary school students.Based on the four-stage theory of interest development,this paper conducted a survey and research on 311 senior students(fifth and sixth grades)of a Primary School in Chanba New Area,Xi’an.During the research,questionnaire,interview and literature methods were used to investigate and study the current situation of sports learning interest cultivation of senior students of a Primary School in Chanba New Area,Xi’an,This paper analyzes the influencing factors of PE learning interest of senior primary school students from a multi-dimensional perspective,finds out the problems and causes in the cultivation of PE learning interest,and finally puts forward relevant strategies for cultivating PE learning interest of senior primary school students with pertinence and effectiveness.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)On the whole,the overall development of students’ interest in sports learning is uneven,and there are certain differences between students of different grades and sexes.Although on the whole,the interest in sports learning decreases with the rise of grades,and the overall level of boys is better than girls.(2)In the stimulation stage of situational interest,the analysis of specific three-level indicators,namely,physical education classroom environment,stimulus display,and classroom atmosphere,can find that senior primary school students generally have the strongest sensitivity to the display of novel stimuli.The attention style of primary school students is still dominated by unintentional attention,and the attraction of external stimuli to senior primary school students is enormous.(3)In the maintenance stage of situational interest,the analysis of specific three-level indicators,namely,deepening the impact of stimuli,classroom exercises,and the connection between physical education and learning life,can find that senior primary school students generally have the strongest sensitivity to classroom exercises.Effective classroom exercises have a significant effect on maintaining situational interest among senior primary school students.(4)In the initial stage of individual interest,the analysis of specific three-level indicators,namely,physical education learning goals,physical education evaluation methods,and learning success experience,can find that senior primary school students generally have the strongest sensitivity to the establishment of physical education learning goals.The establishment of correct learning goals is powerful for students to conduct physical education learning in a more scientific direction.(5)In the stable stage of individual interest,the analysis of specific three-level indicators,namely,deep learning,feeling the charm of sports,and setting a good example,can find that senior primary school students generally have the strongest perception of deep learning.Students at this stage hope to improve their motor skills through in-depth learning in the discipline of physical education.Based on the survey results of students and teachers in the questionnaire,the problems existing in the interest in physical education learning and the analysis of influencing factors,this paper puts forward feasible strategies for the cultivation of the interest in physical education learning in senior primary school students with pertinence and effectiveness.Specific suggestions are as follows:(1)Multi-dimensional awareness strategy.Understand and master the characteristics of the stimulating stage of situational interest of senior primary school students,and make use of the advantages of venue,equipment and the humorous and humorous language of physical education teachers in physical education teaching,so as to make students perceive from multiple dimensions and achieve the stimulation of situational interest.(2)The strategy of combining theory with practice.Pay attention to the balance between teaching and learning,grasp the critical period of transforming theory into practice,deepen students’ understanding of novel stimuli,consolidate it through classroom practice,and fully apply sports knowledge to daily life in the way of connecting sports knowledge with life,so as to consolidate students’ situational interest.(3)Professional guidance strategy.In the teaching process,teachers pay more attention to the establishment of learning objectives,the renewal of students’ evaluation methods,and the enhancement of students’ sense of success experience through various ways to create a good atmosphere for students’ sense of sports learning at the initial stage of individual interest.(4)Emotional sublimation strategy.As the last stage of the four stages of interest development,teachers should strengthen students’ in-depth study of the discipline of physical education,feel the charm of the discipline of physical education and cultivate the sense of example,so as to achieve the sublimation of interest in physical education learning.
