With the deepening of physical education reform in our country,more and more attention is paid to the influence of physical education on students’ physical health and interest in physical education.At present,the problems of primary school students "like PE but not PE class",and the students’ physique is declining seriously are becoming more and more serious.In view of this,this study will draw lessons from the American SPARK curriculum,which includes sports,games and recreation activities,in order to verify the effects of the two teaching methods on students’ interest in PE learning and physical quality,and to provide reference for promoting the reform of PE teaching in primary schools.This research has utilized the literature material law,the questionnaire survey law,the experimental research law,the comparative analysis law,the mathematical statistics law.Data on the evaluation of pupils’ interest in PE learning were obtained through a questionnaire survey.Two classes in Luzhai County No.2 Primary School were selected as the subjects of the experiment.The experiment lasted 16 weeks.After 16 weeks,the effects of the two courses on the physical quality of the students in the two classes(mainly including sitting and bending,one minute sit-ups,50 meters and one minute skipping rope)and the interest in sports learning(mainly including participation in sports,negative interest in sports learning,active interest in sports learning and autonomous learning)were compared.The results of the study mainly reveal two points: First,SPARK in the United States has increased students’ interest in physical education.There are significant differences in the dimensions of participation,active interest,passive interest and autonomous learning in post-test.Second,SPARK courses improve students’ physical quality.Boys in the specific performance of one minute sit-ups,50 meters and one minute skipping events in post-test has a significant difference.There were significant differences in posttest between girls in forward bends,one minute sit-ups and one minute skipping.Through the above investigation and experimental study,the following conclusions are drawn:1.SPARK can improve pupils’ active interest,autonomous learning ability,participation degree and reduce pupils’ passive interest in physical education.The SPARK cycle of muscle strength and endurance exercises is a combination of endurance,willpower and stability.It enhances students’ endurance and explosive power by increasing the frequency of excitement in each exercise unit.3.The aerobic and flexibility cycle exercises of the skill cards in the SPARK course are a fusion of autonomy and flexibility,effectively enhancing the flexibility,whole-body coordination and flexibility of pupils by helping them consciously mobilize more muscle groups to participate in sports.4.The SPARK course integrates the students’ PE learning motivation with all parts of the body organically to establish links for each independent link,so as to improve students’ PE learning interest and physical quality.
