Purpose:Scientific sports are beneficial for the development of physical fitness and interest in sports learning among primary school students aged 9-10.This article uses rope skipping as an intervention method to explore the impact of rope skipping on the physical fitness and interest in physical education learning of 9-10 year old primary school students in the new era,with the aim of obtaining positive results.It lays the foundation for improving primary school students’ cognitive ability,physical and mental health,physical activity participation,and lifelong sports,and provides more effective basis for the promotion of rope skipping in schools,the masses,communities,and other fields.Method:This article mainly uses literature review to provide theoretical support.Experimental methods,questionnaire surveys,and interviews are used to study the impact of rope skipping on the physical fitness and interest in physical education learning of 9-10 year old elementary school students.Measurement methods are used in the research process,and various indicators of physical fitness of elementary school students are measured before and after the experiment:body shape(height weight BMI),one minute rope skipping,speed(50 meters),endurance(20 meters round trip)Flexibility(sitting forward flexion),abdominal strength(sit ups),and leg strength(vertical jump)were measured.Use the questionnaire survey method to investigate the interest of primary school students in physical education learning before and after the experiment.Due to the impact of policies during the epidemic period in various districts of Shanghai,the experimental subjects of this article have successively selected primary school students in grades three and four from two primary schools in Shanghai for research and investigation.Both experimental interventions were independently and uniformly completed during the epidemic period.This study used S-W test to verify whether the data obeyed normal distribution,used independent sample T test and paired sample T test to analyze the data of subjects before and after the experiment,and used Pearson correlation to analyze the significant differences of physical fitness indicators and physical learning interest dimensions of primary school students aged 9-10 years after the rope skipping exercise intervention experiment.Result:After 16 weeks of skipping rope training,the height and weight of the experimental subjects showed varying degrees of increase.The height change in the experimental group was 0.20±0.41,with a P-value of 0.124,while the height change in the control group was 1.85±0.15,with a P-value of 0.00**;The change in the number of rope jumps per minute in the experimental group was 14.70±26.45,with a P-value of 0.00**while the change in the control group was 9.32±32.91,with a P-value of 0.035*;In the speed score of the 50 meter race,the experimental group’s students’speed score increased by 0.30±0.73,with a P-value of 0.004**while the control group’s speed score decreased by-0.18±0.73,with a P-value of 0.061;The endurance change value of the students in the experimental group was 9.65±8.17,with a P-value of 0.00**while the endurance performance change value of the control group was 7.51±7.38,with a P-value of 0.00**;The significance level P values of the two groups of students in flexibility were 0.892 and 0.864,respectively,indicating that at a significance level of 0.05,the intervention of figure skipping rope exercise courses did not have a significant impact on the changes in flexibility of the two groups of students;The change value of the students in the experimental group in the sit up performance was 2.92±7.41,with a P value of 0.005** while the change value of the students in the control group was 1.27±6.59,with a P value of 0.146.The change value of the students in the experimental group in the vertical jump performance was 2.32±4.56,with a P value of 0.005**,while the change value of the students in the control group was 0.66±4.34,with a P value of 0.248;Before the experiment,the P value of male and female novelty interest was 0.180,and after the experiment,the P value of male and female novelty interest was 0.00**;Before the experiment,the P value of male and female students’ challenging interest was 0.499,and after the experiment,the P value of male and female students’ novelty interest was 0.384;Before the experiment,the P value of attention interest for male and female students was 0.662,and after the experiment,the P value of novelty interest for male and female students was 0.00**;Before the experiment,the significance P value of male and female students’ exploratory interest was 0.147,and after the experiment,the P value of male and female students’ exploratory interest was 0.05*;Before the experiment,there was no significant difference in the pleasure experience between male and female students.After the experiment,the significance level value of the pleasure experience between male and female students was 0.03*;The significance level value of overall interest for both male and female students after the experiment is 0.00**.Conclusion:The 16 week skipping rope exercise intervention in this study has a significant effect on improving the endurance of primary school students aged 9-10.It can achieve good weight loss effects for primary school students aged 9-10.At the same time,it can significantly enhance the physical fitness of 9-10 primary school students in terms of one minute rope skipping,endurance,and strength.It has a significant effect on improving the abdominal strength of female students,and has a relatively significant effect on enhancing the leg strength of male students.The 16 week skipping rope exercise intervention in this study cannot effectively promote the speed and flexibility of primary school students aged 9-10.In addition,the sixteen week skipping rope exercise intervention in this study has a significant impact on the novelty of 9-10 year old elementary school students’ interest in sports learning,indicating that skipping rope exercise can attract the attention of 9-10 year old elementary school students.At the same time,it has a positive correlation with the novelty,pleasure,and overall interest performance of 9-10 year old elementary school students’interest in sports learning.The skipping rope exercise intervention in this study cannot effectively stimulate the challenge of 9-10 year old elementary school students’ interest in sports learning Expression of attention and exploratory interest.
