In the report of the 19th National Congress of the CPC in 2017,the General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed for the first time to implement the rural revitalization strategy and make solving the "three rural issues" as the top priority in the work of the whole Party.Whether in theory or in practice,we can conclude that there is an inevitable link between education and economy.China’s modern economic system must include the modernization of rural areas,so in-depth analysis of the impact of rural education on rural revitalization and all dimensions is of great significance to the implementation of rural revitalization strategy and the construction of China’s modern economic system.From a theoretical perspective,this study explores the impact mechanism of rural education on rural revitalization through literature research.Taking Kaizhou District of Chongqing as an example,relevant data are obtained through investigation.First of all,the entropy method is used to calculate the comprehensive evaluation index of rural revitalization in Kaizhou District and each township.Then,using relevant data models and benchmark regression to analyze the impact of rural education on rural revitalization and its five dimensions.Then divide the regions and deeply explore the regional heterogeneity of the impact of rural education on rural revitalization.Finally,the quantile regression model is used to carry out the quantile regression on the five dimensions of rural revitalization in Kaizhou District.Through empirical analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:First,the overall level of rural revitalization and development in the region is not high,and regional differences are relatively obvious.Second,from five dimensions,there is a short-board effect in the revitalization of rural areas in terms of industrial prosperity,rural civilization and effective governance.Third,rural education has a significant impact on rural revitalization,and its impact on industrial prosperity and ecological livability is not as significant as that of rural civilization,effective governance and rich life.Fourth,the empirical results of different regions show that the impact of education level on rural revitalization has regional heterogeneity,and the impact of the areas far away from the urban center is more obvious,but the impact of its education level on rural civilization near the urban center is more significant.Fifth,under the quantile regression,the role of rural education in promoting rural revitalization changes in a U-shape;The better the local rural civilization and governance develop effectively,the higher the promotion effect of rural education;The role of rural education in promoting the prosperity of life is inverted U-shaped;Comparatively speaking,the promotion of rural education to industrial prosperity and ecological livability is not as significant as that of rural civilization,effective governance and rich life.Finally,according to the five dimensions of rural revitalization and combined with the research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions: First,develop rural education and promote the prosperity of industries;Second,Raise environmental awareness and promote ecological livability;Third,carry forward traditional culture and promote the civilization of rural customs;Fourth,introduce new rural sages and promote rural governance;Fifth,grasp both material and spiritual to promote a prosperous life. |
