The research uses the methods of survey, interview,Literatureresearch method, logic, statistic analysis and so on. Under the subject-knowledgesupporting by sociology, culturology and so on; the research analyses attitude surveythat the Chinese Wushu Duan system spreads at some middle and primary schools inChengdu city. The author analyses the practical problems from different aspects thatthe Chinese Wushu Duan system is facing and is willing to providing developingmode and direction of future’s Wu Shu for middle and primary schools in Chengducity, as well to promote the sustainable development of the Chinese Wushu Duansystem at these schools, it can provide some theory basis and practice guide. Theresearch’s main conclusions as follows:(1) The school leaders’support to the promotion of Chinese Wushu Duan system andits adding to the IE course, as well as the belief that it is safe for students to learn theChinese Wushu Duan system.(2) The internet,newspaper,and TV program serve as the3main approaches for IEteachers to know the Chinese Wushu Duan system; IE teachers’understanding aboutthe Chinese Wushu Duan system needs improving.(3) The main factors that affect the promotion of the Chinese Wushu Duan system atjunior high and primary school in Chengdu include, the lack of professional Wushucoach and text book, the re-improving of teachers’ knowledge structure,IEteachers’lack of motivation and creativity;only a few IE teachers would like to teachthe Chinese Wushu Duan system.(4) Most boys and girls quite like Wushu; boys’ attitudes have little difference to thesystem;students who had never learned Wushu have a more positive attitude to thesystem than the students who had before;primary students have a more positiveattitude than junior high and senior high school students; the junior high and seniorhigh school students have a lower positivity to the system.(5) Among the motivation to learn the Chinese Wushu Duan system,“body-building”“to learn some charming routine action” and “to learn someoffensive and defensive moves” represent a significant proportion; primary andsecondary school students who take more than3times Wushu exercise in Chengdu is1/4of all the students.(6) The majority of the parents of the students know the Chinese Wushu Duansystem through the internet and TV program; most parents support their children toattend the training of the relative project of Wushu Duan system.
