| In the context of the new curriculum reform,the state attaches importance to cultivating talents who love their hometowns and motherland and have a sense of home and country.2020 revised Junior Secondary Geography Curriculum Standards state that students should learn and know the geographical overview of their hometowns and the basic geographical conditions of China;students should care about the environment and development issues faced by their hometowns in their studies and lives,and consciously cultivate a love for their hometowns and motherland.Local geography is interesting,practical and unique,and is an important teaching resource that is close to students’ lives and conducive to stimulating their interest in learning.Integrating the region’s rich vernacular geography resources into junior high school geography teaching can,on the one hand,help students gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge in the teaching materials and,on the other hand,enable them to understand the rich geographic resources and current development and construction of their hometowns,thus cultivating a sense of responsibility to build their hometowns and serve society.However,junior high school geography education in Jianyang involves very little in the development of local geography curriculum resources in this area,and the current situation of carrying out local geography education varies significantly from school to school.In order to further promote the development of local geography education in Jianyang,this paper understands the current situation of developing local geography curriculum resources and using them in teaching practice in Jianyang junior high school geography education by means of a questionnaire survey,and proposes corresponding development strategies for the specific problems that exist.On this basis,this paper follows the junior high school geography curriculum standards,and based on the local resources of Jianyang City,it develops the junior high school geography textbook of the Humanities Education Edition twice and prepares three representative teaching cases.It aims to objectively and rigorously present effective suggestions for developing vernacular geography curriculum resources and teaching application cases for local teachers’ reference,in the hope of contributing to geography education in Jianyang.This paper consists of the following main parts.The first part: the background of the study is analyzed in terms of the new curriculum reform,the requirements of the curriculum,and the current situation of the research on Jianyang vernacular geography,and the significance of the study is summarized:cultivating students’ core geographic literacy,enriching Jianyang vernacular geography curriculum resources,and promoting Jianyang geography teachers’ own professional development.Secondly,this paper compares the current situation of related research at home and abroad and establishes the research content of this paper: collecting and collating Jianyang’s local geography resources,using questionnaire survey method to analyse the current situation of applying Jianyang’s local geography curriculum resources and its hindrances,secondary development of Jianyang’s local geography resources to the junior high school geography textbook of the Humanities Education Edition,and designing three representative teaching cases and putting them into teaching practice.Finally,the research methods and ideas of this paper are clarified: literature research method,questionnaire survey method,fieldwork development case method,and finally the research technical line of this paper is mapped.Part Ⅱ : defines the important core concepts of this paper and establishes the theoretical basis of the research.Part Ⅲ : Through an online platform,questionnaires were distributed to all junior high school geography teachers in Jianyang,and a sample of teachers were surveyed on the current situation of developing local geography resources and applying them in their teaching,and the relevant data were analyzed to conclude where the problems lie.At the same time,the paper also discusses strategies for improving the teaching of local geography resources.Part Ⅳ : The main strategies for developing vernacular geography curriculum resources are proposed,and based on the strategies,the junior high school geography curriculum standards are followed to integrate Jianyang vernacular geography resources with the textbook content,making them an effective supplement and extension of knowledge to the textbook content.Part 5: Based on the local characteristics of Jianyang,three representative and typical teaching cases are prepared for reference and teaching practice,and finally,a questionnaire survey is used to analyse and summarize the learning effects of students.Part Ⅵ : Finally,the main conclusions of this study are extracted: the development of Jianyang’s local geography curriculum resources by Jianyang junior high school geography teachers needs to be further improved,the article constructs a strategy for the development of Jianyang’s local geography curriculum resources and secondary development of Jianyang’s junior high school geography textbook by combining Jianyang’s local geography resources,three representative cases of teaching local geography are designed and put into teaching practice while briefly analyzing their The paper then presents the innovations of this paper.Then,we present the innovations of this paper and reflect on the shortcomings of this paper in order to further deepen and improve the research in the future. |
