Since the implementation of the “double reduction” policy for one year,homework burden reduction is in full swing.Homework,as an important part of daily teaching,the quality of its design is a direct factor affecting the reduction of homework burden,and has become a hot topic of education.Under the new background of the “double reduction” policy,teachers of all disciplines also need to keep pace with the times,re-examine homework design,improve the quality of homework design,and give full play to the effectiveness of homework.Therefore,based on the discipline characteristics of biology,the author conducted an in-depth investigation and analysis of the biological homework design in junior high school before and after the“double reduction”,not only found the problems in the current biological homework design in junior high school,but also clarified the optimization strategy of homework design to improve the quality of homework design;In the research field of the research can complement the homework content,provide strong theoretical support for the practice of homework.The author used the literature research method to study a large number of literature related to homework design,and summarized the research results of domestic and foreign scholars.On this foundation,the author conducted an in-depth investigation and research on two ordinary junior high schools in Luzhou City from the perspective of homework and the number,difficulty,interest,type and arrangement of biological homework through questionnaires,interviews,text analysis and case studies,and clarified the current status of biological homework in junior high schools according to the sorting of the survey results,the existing problems and their causes are analyzed and summarized,and has carried on the case.The survey found that after the implementation of the “double reduction” policy,junior high school biology teachers have significantly increased their attention to homework design.At the same time,junior high school biology teachers have strengthened their grasp of students’ learning,paid more attention to students’ differences,reduced students’ homework time and teachers’ burden of correcting homework by reducing the number of homework,and made some positive changes in homework design.However,there are also some problems in the current homework design of junior high school biology,mainly reflected as below.Firstly,the type of homework design is single,and homework focuses on written answers;Secondly,the source of homework design is single,and homework design relies on teaching aids;Thirdly,the homework arrangement is single and lacks pertinence;Forth,teachers lack systematic learning research on homework design;Fifth,teachers lack self reflection and summary of homework design.Through analysis,the main reasons for the problems are as below.First of all,teachers have not got rid of the influence of utilitarian value orientation;Next,the task of teachers is heavy;Then,The teachers themselves have certain laziness;What’s more,Teachers lack teaching research and training of homework design;Finally,teachers lack effective supervision and incentive measures.In view of these problems,the author put forward eight optimization strategies.On the one hand,the teachers should improve their understanding of “double reduction” and innovate the concept of homework;On the other hand,both incentive measures and supervision measures should be taken to promote teachers’ self-development;Teachers not only should strengthen the training and discussion of homework design but also should strengthen daily cooperation,communication and sharing;Then,teachers should strengthen the application of network homework design resources;And teachers should have the courage to practice the new homework model and enrich the types of homework;Teachers should give students the right to choose homework,too;Last but not least,teachers also should strengthen self reflection of homework design.On the basis of the above measures,the author showed and analyzed the biological homework in junior high school,expecting to provide some reference for front-line teachers to design biological homework in junior high school.
