Geometric intuition is an important part of the core literacy of mathematics,often based on graphics.The drawing software commonly used in mathematics classroom teaching is geometric sketchpad.However,there are few studies from the perspective of the combination of the two.In the school mathematics teaching process,how to better cultivate students ’geometric intuitive literacy faces some difficulties.With the help of Geometer ’s Sketchpad,this paper uses literature method,survey method,interview method,observation method and case study method to explore : what is the specific content of junior high school students ’ geometric intuitive literacy,how to better cultivate junior high school students ’ geometric intuitive literacy and other issues,and further puts forward the effective teaching strategies of junior high school students ’ geometric intuitive literacy,and designs the effectiveness of teaching case empirical strategies.Firstly,through literature research,this paper combs the basic composition of junior high school students ’ geometric intuitive literacy,explores the connection between using Geometer’s Sketchpad to assist teaching and cultivating students ’ geometric intuitive literacy,and refines the training strategy of geometric intuitive literacy based on Geometer ’s Sketchpad.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey to understand the teaching of eighth grade students geometry intuitive literacy training status and views on the geometry sketchpad;through interviews and observation of open classes,we can understand how teachers cultivate students ’ geometric intuitive literacy and the frequency of using geometric sketchpad in their daily teaching.The survey found that : students ’ geometric intuitive literacy has a good foundation;in daily teaching,teachers cultivate students ’ geometric intuitive literacy by displaying graphics,observing and measuring graphics,drawing graphics and other means,and teachers use geometric sketchpad to display the process of graphic generation,which is significantly positively related to the cultivation of students ’ geometric intuitive ability.Thirdly,put forward the strategy of using geometric sketchpad to cultivate students ’geometric intuitive literacy :(1)fully present basic graphics and cultivate students ’ ability to read pictures;(2)Hands-on drawing geometry,cultivate students ’ drawing ability;(3)Flexible use of internalized graphics to cultivate students ’ ability to use graphics.Fourthly,difference teaching,strategy effect demonstration :(1)a class using geometric sketchpad,a class does not use geometric sketchpad,through reasonable test to detect students’ geometric intuitive ability;(2)some students are watching teacher demonstration,some students are hands-on operation use geometry sketchpad and display results,compare students’ geometric intuitive ability.It is found that the class performance using the geometric sketchpad is better than that of the unused class;compared with observing teachers ’ operation,students ’consideration of graphics processing is more comprehensive and flexible,and the progress is more obvious.Finally,by observing the process of students ’ problem solving,it is found that students can associate and use old graphics to solve new graphics problems after training,which shows that the proposed teaching strategy is practical.The strong combination of geometric sketchpad and mathematical knowledge is effective and efficient in cultivating students ’ geometric intuitive literacy.
