Sports hidden curriculum is an important part of sports curriculum,which plays an important role in the physical and mental development of students in its indirect and implicit way.At present,domestic physical education pays more attention to sports explicit curriculum and ignores sports implicit curriculum.In addition,due to the lack of understanding of sports implicit curriculum from all walks of life,the development of domestic sports implicit curriculum is not ideal.The Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in the Compulsory Education Stage issued in 2022 clearly proposed that the core quality of physical education should be the guide,and the combination of physical education and mental education should be combined to promote the all-round development of students.Sports hidden curriculum has important value in developing students’ healthy behavior,sports ability and sports morality.Based on this,this study,taking Yibin City as a case,investigated the current situation of the development of sports hidden curriculum in junior middle schools in Yibin City from the material and cultural elements,institutional and cultural elements,as well as spiritual and cultural elements of sports hidden curriculum,analyzed the existing problems,and proposed specific improvement paths,so as to provide theoretical and practical reference for promoting the development of sports hidden curriculum in China and the development of sports hidden curriculum in junior middle schools.This research adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,expert interview and mathematical statistics to investigate the current situation of sports hidden curriculum development in ten junior middle schools in Yibin City by making and distributing questionnaires related to sports hidden curriculum.The results of the survey found that the physical education teachers and students in Yibin junior middle schools did not have enough knowledge of the hidden curriculum of physical education,which needs to be improved,and the hidden curriculum of physical education in county and town middle schools did not receive enough attention.In terms of material and cultural aspects of hidden curriculum,the sports facilities in Yibin Middle School are generally good,but the quality of sports facilities is not up to the standard,and the layout and greening of the sports facilities are insufficient;The overall arrangement of physical education classes in junior high schools is more reasonable,but there is a phenomenon that physical education courses are arranged in the first and second class periods in the morning in individual county and town middle schools.In terms of institutional culture,all schools need to improve their sports institutional norms,but urban schools do better than county schools in this respect.In addition,urban schools are better than county schools in organizing and managing sports competitions.In the aspect of sports spiritual and cultural elements,each school has insufficient publicity for sports,and has not formed a good sports tradition and atmosphere;On the whole,physical education teachers can basically care for students,but some teachers still adopt a boring teaching method that is exam oriented.In the teaching process,they can not adopt a democratic teaching method.They pay more attention to teachers’ "teaching" and ignore students’ "learning".In addition,the school should pay more attention to sports investment and leadership.In view of the existing problems,this study puts forward the improvement path: increase the research on hidden curriculum of physical education in schools,and improve the understanding of hidden curriculum of physical education;Pay attention to the sports investment of county and town middle schools,and further improve the sports venues and facilities;Attach importance to the construction of school sports system and promote the standardized development of school sports;Pay attention to the construction of sports spiritual culture and create a positive campus sports culture;Change the traditional educational concept and improve the quality level of teachers’ teaching;Strengthen the publicity of sports culture and cultivate students’ consciousness of participating in sports activities. |
