Since the new curriculum reform began,China has continuously released relevant educational documents and policies to push the career education in each learning period.The book,Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School published in 2017(revised in 2020),put forward to cultivate the five core chemical literacies.Then,a new column of "Chemistry and career" was added in the first and second required courses of the new high school chemistry textbook of the new edition(2019).Therefore,it is of great practical importance to study how to involve career education into the chemistry teaching in high school.Firstly,the literature research method is used to collect the research status of career education at home and abroad in this paper.Some important theories and concepts that are used to guide career research are also sorted out.Then,232 students and 12 chemistry teachers in Grade One of J Middle School in Guigang city were investigated and analyzed on the current situation of infiltration career education in chemistry class.The following situations were found by the study.The students don’t know much about to the professional and career.The students’ career planning awareness is not high,and their career planning ability is weak.They desire for more information about career in the chemistry class chemistry.Teachers’ the consciousness of permeating career education is generally strong.However,due to many factors such as the teaching time arrangement and the teaching task pressure,the frequency of career education in class is low.Meanwhile,the teaching ability of combining the knowledge points of textbooks with career education needs improving,and some teachers’ own chemical knowledge reserve needs to be improved.Based on the current situation,combined with the content of "Battery Developer" in the column of "Chemistry and Career" of the new students’ compulsory course 2,the teaching design of career education is carried out in classroom teaching.At the same time,the feedback and evaluation formed by effect of teaching practice are collected by questionnaire,survey and interview.Then reflect,summarize and optimize the data to form new teaching cases.Finally,some advice from school,chemistry teachers and students were proposed.This paper will play an important role for front-line teachers to infiltrate career education in real classroom teaching.It is significant to respond to the implementation of China’s policy to promote career education in high school. |
