This research focuses on the language teaching strategies of ethnic middle schools,and the current situation of language teaching in ethnic middle schools(taking Sanjiangyuan Ethnic Middle School as an example)is investigated by combining questionnaire survey and interview survey,some major problems are found,the reasons for this situation are analyzed based on the characteristics of ethnic minority students,and strategies to improve the current situation of Chinese teaching in ethnic middle schools are proposed on the basis of rational grasp of their current situation.Taking Sanjiangyuan Minzu Middle School as an example,this project investigates the teaching status of ethnic middle schools and finds the following problems: cultural differences affect the improvement of students’ learning ability of Chinese subjects.Students’ lack of motivation and self-confidence in learning Chinese subjects affects the cultivation of interest in learning;The basic level of students in the class varies greatly,and the classroom teaching link is mainly to consolidate the basic knowledge;The teaching practices and pedagogical views carried out by teachers cannot be effectively integrated;Most teachers and students have cultural differences,differences in language expression,different ways of thinking and other factors,and the teaching effect is not as expected.This project analyzes the reasons for these problems based on the survey data on the current situation of Chinese teaching in ethnic middle schools,and the educational environment and cultural environment that ethnic minority students receive from childhood are different from the local environment where ethnic middle schools are located.There are differences between the cultural background of the teaching and interpretation of the ethnic culture and the teaching and interpretation of the Chinese subject;Students’ lack of self-confidence in learning Chinese subjects affects the cultivation of interest in learning subjects;Teachers do not effectively integrate the characteristics of students when designing language classroom teaching links.Based on the analysis of the causes of existing problems and teaching practice,this project puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the Chinese teaching strategies of ethnic middle schools,and suggests teaching design based on students’ actual conditions.Develop students’ oral skills and confidence through flexible approaches;Develop and utilize teaching resources;Formulate effective methods for students with weak basic knowledge,improve the level of language teaching in junior middle schools of ethnic minorities,and improve students’ learning ability in Chinese subjects.
