Peer communication ability is the social ability that reflects children’s successful communication with their peers,and it is the sum total of children’s ability to feel,adapt,coordinate and deal with peer relations in the process of communication with peers.Children’s peer communication ability can not only help children to enrich their social cognition,promote their understanding and perception of themselves,others and various social phenomena in the surrounding environment,but also enrich their emotional experience and meet their psychological needs for growth.Especially for small class children,they just start to adapt to collective life.Peer communication ability directly affects their emotional state and performance of participating in collective activities in kindergarten.The research selects 50 children from two classes of A kindergarten of Suining as the research object,among which,Class 1 is the action class,and Class 2 is the reference class.By using the ability rating scale of 3—6 year-old children’s peer communication,it is found that the children in the small class are overcoming the problems such as low social barrier ability,poor verbal and non-verbal expression,low communication initiative and less prosocial behavior.On the basis of investigation the status quo and theoretical basis,establishing the action should adhere to subjectivity principle,situationality principle,model principle and gaming principle,setting the goals of overcoming social barriers,improving communication expression,stimulating communication initiative,developing prosocial behavior and selecting the relevant partner relationship theme painting.Respectively around four theme of Help children adapt to overcome social barriers in the park,Provide demonstration-improve communication expression,Study skills-improve the interaction initiative,Create communication situation-develop pro-social behavior,we take a three-month interferential activities in class kindergarten teaching.Each theme activity is divided into two implementation processes,which follow the action research process of planned action,observation and reflection.After the action study,children in the action class and the reference class were compared on the level of peer communication ability.The results show that there is a significant difference in the level of peer communication ability of children in the two classes.It can be seen that carrying out picture book themed activities can have a positive impact on children’s accompaniment ability.It can help children overcome social barriers,accumulate communication,express experience,stimulate communication initiative and develop prosocial behaviors.Therefore,combined with the experience in the course of action,suggestions were put forward for teachers and parents.Teachers should create a physical environment for children to communicate with peers,create a free and equal psychological environment for children,and improve their ability to organize and implement peer communication activities.Parents should choose appropriate peer education picture books to guide children to communicate with peers and transfer knowledge so as to play a positive role of their own.
