The cultivation of children's communicative ability in early childhood is very important.The ability of children's peer communication affects the social development of children to some extent.The majority of existing literature about the ability of children's peer communication is to explore communication strategies,special children's peer communicative strategies,and role games affecting the strategies of children's peer communication.But there are relatively few studies on the picture book reading teaching to improve children's peer communication ability.This thesis mainly studies the peer communicative abilities of children of big class in kindergarten by picture reading,which is aimed at to make children love reading,cultivate their character,help them develop in an all-around way and learn language.It is more important to offer feasible suggestions for teachers in kindergarten and parents to cultivate children's peer communicative abilities and communicative strategies.The observation method,the experimental method and the questionnaire survey method are used in this paper.the researcher carries out an experimental study on 40 children of large class in kindergarten by using literature method,experimental method and questionnaire survey and divides 40 experimental objects into two groups: 20 children in the experimental group and 20 children in the controlled group.This paper mainly analyzes the influence of picture book reading teaching on the strategies of peer communication and communicative ability of children.The major findings in the study indicate that picture book reading teaching can promote children's application of positive and neutral strategies,and reduce the use of negative strategies effectively.Picture book reading teaching can promote the initiative of children's communication,and improve children's communicative ability by fully using language,action and so on.The intervention of picture book reading can better stimulate children's pro-social behaviors.Gender does not affect children's peer communicative strategies and communicative skills.It can be seen from the study that picture book reading teaching has a great significance for the children's peer communicative strategies and communicative skills in large class.
