Children’s peer interaction ability is an important part of children’s socialization,and also one of the most important social communication ability of children.It can help children get rid of self-centered,enhance their emotional support,and promote their prosocial behavior,social communication ability,social cognition and other aspects of development.Picture books are a good carrier for children’s early reading.There are abundant and beautiful language and vivid pictures in picture books.Educational activities carried out around excellent picture books can not only help children imitate in peer interaction and experience the positive communication way of story characters,but also improve their own social initiative and language expression in interaction.This study adopts the method of action research,and questionnaire,observation and interview as auxiliary methods.45 children of 5-6 years from H Kindergarten are selected as the research objects,and the peer communication level of children of 5-6 years is investigated by observation method.Through the two cycles of practice-reflection-repractice-re-reflection,the activity strategy is constantly improved,in order to develop a reasonable series of theme picture book reading education program that can significantly promote the communicative ability of children in large classes.Through action research,this paper recommends valuable communicative picture books and the correct way to read them for parents and teachers,summarizes the activity experience of communicative picture books,and provides feasible and effective teaching strategies for teachers to promote children’s peer communication ability through communicative picture books.Through the above research work,this study use the Questionnaire for Teacher Evaluation of Children’s Peer Communication Ability to conduct pre-test and post-test on the research objects.According to the data analysis results,the results are as follows:(1)Picture book activities based on communicative themes can effectively promote the development of the social initiative dimension of children’s peer communication ability of 5-6 years.(2)Picture book activities based on communication themes can effectively promote the development of prosocial behavioral dimensions of peer communication ability of children in senior grade of kindergarte.(3)Picture book activities based on communicative themes have no significant promoting effect on the development of verbal and non-verbal communicative skills of children in senior grade of kindergarten.(4)Picture book activities based on communication themes can effectively improve the development of the dimension of social disorder in the peer communication ability of children in large classes.At the same time,activities based on picture books with communicative themes can improve teachers’ teaching experience in using picture books with communicative themes.Finally,it verifies that the communicative theme picture books can promote the development of children’s peer communication ability,so as to put forward relevant educational suggestions for kindergarten teachers and managers. |
