| Improving the national scientific literacy is one of the requirements of the national strategy,and the popular science education is the important way to improve the national scientific literacy.With the deepening of educational informatization,using modern information technology,such as the E-Learning is one of the more efficient methods to carry out popular science education.This research takes astronomy popularization as the breakthrough point and combines the relevant educational principles to construct a network-based popular science teaching model.And test the effectiveness of the model through the teaching practice,so as to provide a reference way for popular science education.This study has taken about 2 years,and the serveral methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,action and control group experiment have been used.The main results are as follows:(1)The large number of literature research on the network teaching model and the current situation of astronomy popularization education were conducted,and then the key concepts involved in this research,as well as related educational theories were sorted out.(2)The current situation of local network astronomy popularization was investigated,and the teaching objectives of popular science in this study were determined through the investigation for current situation and the analysis of needs.(3)Based on the new constructivism learning theory,cognitive load theory and achievement goal theory,referring to the existing research results on teaching models,this research constructed a “three-stage” teaching model applied to network astronomy popularization,and further clarified the roles and tasks of teachers and students at each stage.(4)Referring to the “three-stage” teaching model,this research designed a control-group experiment,and the eighth grade students were selected in the teaching practice.(5)The teaching evaluation tools were sorted out and re-compiled,and the effectiveness of teaching practice was evaluated from multiple dimensions such as knowledge,attitude,and ability by combining questionnaires and interviews.The evaluation results show that our teaching model has had a significant positive impact on the students’ astronomical knowledge level and astronomical learning attitude.The students’ autonomous learning ability has also been improved.(6)Finally,based on the research conclusions,this thesis put forward some strategies and suggestions,which can provide some references for teachers engaging in popular science teaching. |
