Literacy teaching occupies an important position in language subjects.The Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)states that literacy and writing are the focus of teaching in the first school year.Elementary school is the main site of literacy education,literacy learning directly affects reading and writing learning,and a good foundation of literacy is the guarantee of language learning.The survey found that the phenomenon of literacy regression is common among elementary school students at present.Taking Shanghai Primary School D as an example,this paper conducts a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of literacy regression among first graders of three language ability categories,A,B and C.It speculates on the characteristics of their literacy learning,searches for the inner connection between learning behaviors and the phenomenon of regression,and then proposes targeted teaching strategies.Through analysis and comparison,it was found that the literacy recall rates of the three types of students differed greatly and the types of recall were different.Type A students had a low rate of literacy recall,focusing on writing wrong words(errors in parts and strokes)and writing different words(homophones);Type B students had an intermediate rate of literacy recall,focusing on writing wrong words(errors in strokes and parts)and writing different words(homophones);Type C students had a high rate of literacy recall,focusing on writing wrong words(errors in strokes and parts)and writing different words(homophones).Through surveys and observations,the literacy learning behaviors of the three types of students were explored in four dimensions: literacy interest,habits,methods,and classroom behaviors.Type A students have good literacy habits and strong abilities,but still need to prevent returning to the classroom;Type B students have initial literacy habits,but need guidance on literacy methods;Type C students have poor interest in literacy learning,and need to enhance their interest and develop habits.According to the learning characteristics of the three types of students,this paper proposes a targeted teaching strategy.
