Research On The Way To Improve The Quality Of County-level Government Statistical Data

The essence of statistics is data,and ensuring the quality of statistical data is the basic function and important duty of government statistics.The process of obtaining,calculating,accounting and other data output of statistical data mostly comes from county-level statistical departments.The county-level government faces multiple difficulties in the process of collecting,summarizing,accounting,reporting and evaluating statistical data.From the following point of view,the statistical data of the respondents are falsely reported and underreported;Generally speaking,the data collection and verification are incomplete and inaccurate.Internally,the basic infrastructure of statistics is not solid;Externally,statistics are not released in time.County-level government is facing the pressure of statistical data quality,so it is urgent to improve the quality of statistical data.This paper takes S County as the research object,selects three representative communities to carry out investigation,comprehensively uses literature analysis and interview methods,and finds out some problems such as insufficient authenticity,timeliness,accuracy and applicability of statistical data quality in S County.After that,from the perspective of total quality management theory,the data are analyzed,and it is concluded that there are four factors for the low quality of statistical data in S County,namely,the weakening of statistical supervision function and the shortcomings of total quality management of statistical data;The process of statistical data output is imperfect,and the whole process of statistical data management is insufficient;The investigation team is weak,and the participation of all the statisticians is insufficient;The statistical data management mechanism is incomplete and all-round management is not in place.On this basis,this study puts forward a way to improve the quality of county-level statistical data,that is,to give more effective play to the statistical supervision function and improve the statistical execution;Standardize the management of statistical business process and improve the level of statistical standardization;Strengthen the management of statisticians and improve the quality of statisticians;Improve the construction of statistical system and improve the quality of statistical data.
