Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of different accumulated M-PA time on sleep quality of junior middle school students,and to explore the promoting effect of different accumulated M-PA time on physical and mental health of junior middle school students.Methods: Using the methods of literature,statistics and experiment,94 students from three parallel classes in grade 9 were investigated,the experiment design of3(Experimental Group 1,Experimental Group 2 and Control Group)* 2(pre-test and post-test)was adopted.Results:(1)Before the experiment,there was no significant difference in the overall sleep qual ity and each sub-dimension.0.05.(2)Different cumulative time of moderate intensity physical activity on the overall sle ep quality of junior middle school(F=32.304,p=0.000<0.01),sleep time dimension(F=13.567,p=0.000<0.01),sleep disorders(F=9.590,p=0.003<0.01)has a very signifi cant effect;(3)Time to sleep(F=5.949,p=0.017<0.05)had significant influence;(4)Subjective sleep quality(F=0.373,p=0.543>0.05),sleep efficiency(F=0.516,p=0.475>0.05),daytime dysfunction(F=0.560,p=0.456>0.05)had no significant effect.(5)Regression analysis showed that 60% of the total time of moderate intensity physi cal activity had a predictive effect on the overall sleep quality of junior high school st udents(p<0.05),there was no predictive effect of moderate intensity physical activity in different accumulative time on the sub-dimensions of sleep quality of junior middle school students(p>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Different cumulative time of M-PA can effectively improve the overall sleep quality of junior high school students.(2)Different accumulated time of M-PA can obviously improve the sleep disorder dimension of junior middle school students;,the cumulative exercise time of 60% of M-PA to improve the best effect.(3)60% cumulative M-PA time can effectively reduce the junior middle school students’ sleep time,and significantly increase the sleep time;(4)60% accumulated time of M-PA can predict the whole sleep quality of junior middle school students...
