| Pre-adolescence is an important laying stage for the formation of an individual’s physical and mental health.Pre-adolescent girls have undergone both physical and psychological changes.They have just begun to develop physically and are in a semi-mature state psychologically.They are shy and shy when interacting with boys,especially in physical contact.Sports dance is a physical activity that requires the cooperation of male and female students.Studies have found that sports dance is beneficial to the development of physical and mental health.At present,there are few experimental studies on the promotion of physical and mental health of pre-adolescent girls in my country.Therefore,this study aims to explore the influence of rumba dance practice on the physical and mental health of girls aged 10-11,enrich their extracurricular activities,make people realize the correct value of sports dance,establish the correct concept of making friends and learning,and promote the development of sports dance.This study conducted a 16-week intervention experiment on 48 girls aged10-11 years from Shanghai Jing’an Science and Technology School using experimental method and questionnaire survey method.Forty-eight girls were randomly divided into a control group(n=24)and an experimental group(n=24).The experimental group received 1 session of rumba dance intervention per week,each session of 90 minutes,while the control group only participated in intramural sports.Before and after the experiment,the subjects’ height,weight,vital capacity,sitting forward flexion,skipping rope for one minute,standing on one foot with eyes closed,sit-ups,standing long jump,and 20 s repeated spanning were measured twice.At the same time,the subjects were measured before and after the experiment.The test of the primary school students’ mental health assessment questionnaire was carried out,and the data was statistically analyzed by using the mathematical statistics method and SPSS statistical software.Research Results:(1)Body shape: After 16 weeks of rumba dance practice,there was no significant difference in body shape between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).(2)Physical function: After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the change of vital capacity between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05).(3)Physical fitness: After 16 weeks of rumba dance intervention,the subjects in the experimental group were better than the control group in sitting forward bending,skipping rope for one minute,standing long jump,standing on one foot with eyes closed,20 s repeated across and supine There was an improvement in sitting-ups,among which there was a significant difference(P<0.05)between sitting forward bending(P=0.046)and standing on one foot with eyes closed(P=0.048).(4)Mental health: After 16 weeks of rumba dance intervention,compared with the control group,the experimental group had a higher level of emotional disorders(P>0.05),personality defects(P>0.05),moral defects(P>0.05),special Disorders(P>0.05)showed a downward trend,but there was no significant)and other aspects were significantly improved,with significant differences.Research conclusions:(1)Rumba dance practice has a good effect on the physical and mental health of pre-adolescent girls,and the more significant improvement is the improvement of the mental health of pre-adolescent girls.(2)Among the effects on the physical health of prepubertal girls,the most significant improvement is the lung function and coordination ability,especially the improvement of physical flexibility and balance ability.(3)In terms of mental health,it can effectively relieve the tension of pre-adolescent girls in study,relieve psychological pressure,improve behavioral barriers,promote social interaction,and cultivate morality and good habits.Suggest:(1)In the future research,students with rumba dance foundation can be used as experimental objects to further study the influence of rumba dance practice on the physical and mental health of pre-adolescent girls.(2)Incorporate sports dance projects into the teaching content of after-school services in primary schools.(3)Pay attention to the dance differences between boys and girls. |
