Vocational education is an important part of a national and regional education system,an important basis for economic and social development,and a powerful driving force for modern economic,technological and social development.Secondary vocational education,as the intermediate stage of vocational education,plays an important role in connecting the previous and the next,and is the cornerstone of vocational education system.Since entering the 21 st century,our secondary vocational education is developing rapidly,giving full play to its unique advantages in training technical skills,sending a large number of technical talents to all walks of life,and providing strong intelligence and manpower support for promoting social and economic development.As China’s social development enters a new stage from high speed to high quality,the demographic dividend gradually disappears,and the development of new business forms,new industries,new subjects and new products accelerate.The demand for talents with professional and technical skills in all walks of life is increasing,and the demand for workers’ individual literacy is also increasing.The necessity,urgency and importance of secondary vocational education,which is needed by enterprises,recognized by the society and satisfied by the people,are becoming more and more prominent.After years of development,the secondary vocational education in T City is in good condition and has achieved certain development compared with before.However,in terms of management,there are still some problems,such as insufficient support leading to lagging development,weak overall regulation leading to unbalanced development,and multiple decentralized management leading to low efficiency.As a result,secondary vocational schools in T City are small in scale and disorganized in layout,the connection between secondary vocational schools and administrative departments is not smooth,and students are reluctant to come and teachers are reluctant to teach,which restricts the development of vocational education.Resulting in a lag compared with other areas.The main reason is that the transformation of the educational management function of local government is not in place,the management is not scientific enough,systematic insufficient and other factors lead to.In view of the current situation of T City,based on the successful experience of foreign vocational education management and development,this paper puts forward suggestions such as attaching great importance to,strengthening administrative coordination,planning from the macro level,optimizing the school-running structure,organizing the management system,improving the vocational education management system of T City,consolidating the quality,strengthening publicity and guidance,and improving the external attractiveness of vocational education.Around the new changes and new requirements of our secondary vocational education development in recent years,referring to the successful management experience of foreign countries,based on the current situation of the management of secondary vocational education in T city,find the problems existing in the management and analyze the causes,and help to scientifically grasp the development direction of the secondary vocational education in T city and optimize the quality of management in T city.Effectively improve the quality of secondary vocational schools,and provide strong talent support for T City and even Shanxi Province to run satisfactory education and realize economic and social transformation and development.
