In the era of Internet plus,reading media has gradually developed from paper to digital,and the market scale of digital reading has gradually become huge.As an important group of digital reading,whether university teachers and students can obtain appropriate knowledge on online platforms,whether the platform can deeply tap into students’potential,and improve their abilities is particularly important.The research work of this article is mainly divided into the following two aspects.Firstly,this article provides an overview of the current research results of digital reading platforms both domestically and internationally.Frontend technology is used as the theoretical basis for platform development.After research and actual situation analysis,the platform is divided into seven modules based on functional requirements:login,homepage,book details,bookstore,class,discovery,and personal center.At the same time,considering system reliability,maintainability,and scalability,A complete system architecture design has been carried out to ensure high cohesion and low coupling among various functional components.Meanwhile,on the basis of traditional platform technology development,as people’s requirements for web platform performance become increasingly high,optimizing web platform performance becomes particularly important.Efficient websites can bring people a comfortable browsing experience,not only attracting and retaining a large number of users for the platform,but also allowing users to learn rich knowledge in a comfortable experience.In terms of performance optimization,backend optimization technology is relatively mature,while hardware optimization has a higher cost.This article chooses to start from the front-end direction for performance optimization.Therefore,based on the above platform design,we analyzed and positioned the existing performance issues,and proposed three optimization strategies:front-end cache data polling,file volume optimization,and virtual scrolling list to improve the existing performance shortcomings.Apply the optimization plan to the system,design corresponding reasonable testing plans for different optimization methods,and compare the system performance before and after optimization.For the front-end cache data polling design plan,from the comparison graph of page dwell time before and after optimization,it can be seen that at a total time of 20 minutes,the optimized class overview page significantly increases the dwell time.The dwell time of 0-2 minutes only accounts for 13%,which is 52%less than before;The proportion of stay time between 2 and 5 minutes is as high as 72%,a significant increase of 43%compared to before;The duration of stay between 5 and 10 minutes also reached 15%,an increase of 9%;For the file volume optimization design scheme,from the comparison of the first screen loading time before and after optimization,it can be seen that the optimized platform’s first screen loading time is significantly reduced,with a loading time of 0-2s accounting for 8%,which is 4%higher than before;The loading time is between 2-5s,accounting for 68%,which is 19%higher than before;The loading time is between 5-8 seconds,accounting for 16%,and the loading time is between 8-10 seconds,accounting for 8%.Compared to the loading time before optimization,it is significantly reduced;For the design scheme of the virtual scrolling list,the comparison of the scrolling frame rate before and after optimization shows that the optimized frame rate has significantly improved,and the user scrolling lag phenomenon has significantly decreased.The rolling frame rate below 30FPS(lag)is only 11%,a decrease of 19%compared to before;The rolling frame rate between 30-50FPS(normal)is 55%,a slight increase of 3%;The rolling frame rate at 50-60FPS(smooth)is 34%,an increase of 16%year-on-year.From this,it can be seen that the overall frame rate level of the optimized user is above 30FPS,and the lag phenomenon is significantly reduced.By analyzing the test results,the feasibility of the optimization scheme has been proven,providing a certain reference for relevant research.
