Reading the whole book is of great value,which is an indispensable part of Chinese teaching and an important carrier of Chinese curriculum reform.However,in reality,the whole book reading teaching in middle schools faces many difficulties,which need to be broken through more specific and targeted research.Based on this,the author,on the basis of collecting and analyzing a large number of documents,combined with the actual investigation,chooses the specific style of classical novels,takes the whole book reading teaching of Chinese classical novels in junior high schools as the research object,takes teaching strategies as the research subject,and takes The Scholars as an example to make a detailed study.First of all,from the theoretical level to explore,clearly analyze the basic concepts of the whole book reading teaching of classical novels,clarify its theoretical and practical basis,and expound the value of the whole book reading teaching of classical novels.Secondly,the present situation and teaching situation of reading the whole book of Chinese classical novels in junior high schools are investigated and analyzed,and the problems encountered by junior high school students and Chinese teachers in reading the whole book of classical novels are found.Furthermore,the author provides some teaching strategies for the preparation stage,basic reading stage and in-depth reading stage of the whole book reading teaching of classical novels,and takes The Scholars as an example to provide specific strategies for reference.Finally,based on the proposed teaching strategy,taking The Scholars as an example,the whole book reading teaching design of classical novels is carried out,hoping to provide specific teaching design for the majority of front-line teachers.Through this study,we can find that the whole book reading teaching of classical novels can give full play to the value of classical masterpieces,enhance students’ core literacy of Chinese and enhance the learning effect of Chinese course content.However,at present,there are still some problems in the whole book reading teaching of Chinese classical novels in junior middle schools,such as the lack of teaching strategies and the lack of targeted teaching design.However,if we can continue theoretical and practical research and provide specific teaching strategies and corresponding teaching designs,it will certainly promote the progress of the whole book reading teaching of Chinese classical novels.
