| In recent years,the frequent occurrence of school bullying has drawn wide attention at home and abroad.This study aims at the phenomenon of school bullying to explore the influence of father’s participation in parenting on junior high school students’ bullying and the internal mechanism of the two from the family level.774 junior high school students in Guangxi were surveyed by using self-esteem questionnaire,father’s participation in parenting questionnaire and bullying and victimization questionnaire,to explore the influence of father’s participation in parenting on bullying of junior high school students and the role of self-esteem in the two,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The overall bullying detection rate of junior middle school students was 33.46%.In terms of bullying methods,the highest detection rate was verbal bullying,and the lowest was cyber bullying;From the point of view of father’s participation in parenting,the score of support and planning is the highest,and the score of daily care is the lowest.The overall level of father’s participation in parenting is above the average level.Finally,the self-esteem level of junior high school students was analyzed and the self-esteem level of junior high school students was above the average level.(2)In terms of gender differences,there was no significant difference between male and female in terms of bullying,father’s participation in parenting and self-esteem,but in all dimensions,girls suffered less physical bullying than boys,and boys’ father’s daily care was higher than girls’ father’s daily care.In terms of grade difference,there were significant differences in the total score of bullying and the three dimensions of physical bullying,verbal bullying and relationship bullying.There was no grade difference between father’s involvement in parenting and self-esteem.(3)The total score and dimensions of father’s participation in parenting were positively correlated with self-esteem;The total score and dimensions of father’s participation in parenting were significantly negatively correlated with bullying.In addition,the relationship between self-esteem and bullying also showed a significant negative correlation.(4)Self-esteem partially mediated the influence of support planning,encouragement and praise,and discipline and restraint on bullying,and the proportion of mediating effect was 14.73%、25.92%、23.08%;Secondly,self-esteem completely mediated the relationship between father’s daily care and bullying. |
