The course "Transportation Operation Practice" is the core course of logistics service and management major in secondary vocational schools.The content of this course is highly practical,including freight calculation,waybill filling and transportation operation process of railway,highway,water transportation and air transportation.Task-driven teaching method based on mind map is a method that guides students to tasks through independent exploration and group cooperation and communication with mind map AIDS,which is consistent with the practical course "Transportation Operation Practice".At present,no scholars have applied mind-map-based task-driven teaching method to "Transportation Operations Practice".whether this method can help the teaching of Transportation Operations Practice course to be verified.This research paper mainly applies four research approaches: literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,and educational experiment method.Firstly,literature research method was used to compile the domestic and international literature related to mind mapping and task-driven teaching methods to fully understand their current research status;next,the investigation of the teaching situation of "Transportation Operation Practice" in the secondary vocational school is conducted by means of the questionnaire survey and consultation.The survey results show that the following phenomena exist in the current classroom teaching: students lack interest in learning,and the overall classroom atmosphere is dull;Less time for practical training and insufficient practice of practical skills;Teachers’ teaching methods are monotonous and comprehensive ability training is disregarded.These problems also reflect the current classroom teaching still needs to be improved.Then,according to the meaning and characteristics of mind mapping and task-driven teaching method,the author proposes the design principles and ideas of task-driven teaching method based on mind mapping,and designs specific teaching cases for educational experiments.Finally,the effect of task-driven teaching method based on mind mapping is tested.According to the data of effect analysis,it can be seen that this teaching method not only helps stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve class participation,but also has positive effects on the improvement of students’ knowledge and skills mastery level and comprehensive ability.It is expected that this paper can provide reference for the application of mind-map-based task-driven teaching method to the teaching research of logistics service and management major.
