Traditional Chinese culture has a long history and is extensive and profound.It is a rich heritage inherited from the 5,000-year history of the Chinese nation.It provides spiritual sustenance for the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation,and a source of cultural confidence and national strength.The primary school stage is the key period for students to establish a correct outlook on life,world outlook and values.The Guidance Outline for Improving Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture education points out: Strengthen the Chinese excellent traditional culture education,to lead young students a more comprehensive understanding of the Chinese nation history,culture,and basic national conditions,to recognize the historical inevitability of socialism with Chinese characteristics,firmly walk the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation the Chinese dream of ideal and faith,has important and far-reaching historical significance.Ancient poetry is a bright pearl in Chinese literature,condensed rich traditional Chinese culture,is an important module in Chinese teaching,is a literary form for young people to learn,understand and inherit Chinese culture.Therefore,Chinese teaching should grasp the spiritual connotation of ancient poems and let students inherit Chinese traditional culture in teaching.However,in the actual teaching of ancient poetry and prose,teachers tend to focus more on the learning of ancient poetry and prose knowledge,ignoring students’ inner experience of the spiritual connotation of ancient poetry and prose,ignoring the development of students’ emotional attitude and values,and failing to cultivate students to inherit traditional Chinese culture.In practical teaching,how to make use of ancient poems and articles to effectively inherit traditional culture is a problem worth discussing.This study uses the unified primary School Chinese textbook(2021 edition)as the text material,adopts the method of literature survey,questionnaire survey and interview survey,and investigates some teachers,students and parents from grade one to grade six in Y Primary School in Nanning city.First of all,through the analysis of relevant literature,the development and status quo of the research on traditional Chinese culture,ancient poetry teaching and the inheritance of traditional culture in ancient poetry teaching are sorted out,the existing research problems and the value of this research are identified,and the basis for subsequent research is provided.Secondly,on the basis of previous studies,the relationship between the teaching of ancient poetry and the inheritance of traditional culture is expounded.Explore the teaching objectives of ancient poems in the curriculum standards and the characteristics of ancient poems included in the textbooks under the curriculum objectives;Based on the analysis of the teaching materials,the author sorts out the basic spirit contained in ancient poems from four aspects: personal cultivation,interpersonal relationship,relationship between man and country and relationship between man and nature,and makes clear the feasibility of inheriting traditional culture in the teaching of ancient poems and prose.Finally,some students,parents and teachers were surveyed by questionnaire survey and interview survey to understand the teaching status of ancient poetry and prose,and the following problems were found: Students’ cognitive ability to ancient poems is uneven,students’ empathy to ancient poems is insufficient due to the great difference between ancient and modern times,students’ interest is not in ancient poems,teachers’ teaching mode is fixed,evaluation mechanism is not perfect,teachers’ literary accomplishment is insufficient and parents’ companionship is insufficient.Based on the problems existing in the present situation,this paper puts forward to practice the teaching goal,associated with life,scene teaching,flexible use of teaching methods,improving the evaluation mechanism,the promotion of the teacher’s literature accomplishment and strengthen parent-school cooperative teaching strategy,aims to enhance students’ interest in learning modern,improve teaching efficiency,for teachers in the modern teaching method references for better inheriting the traditional culture.
