With the progress of social economy,more and more people begin to pay attention to the physical quality of children.8-10 years old is a sensitive period for the development of many physical qualities of children.At this stage,the physical qualities develop rapidly.If the critical period is missed,the physical qualities are not easy to develop to the best level.In order to explore whether Cabaddi sports can improve the physical fitness of children aged 8-10 years old,the influence of Cabaddi sports on physical fitness of children aged 8-10 years old was selected as the study object.120 children aged 8-10 years old were selected as experimental subjects in Jinniuhu School,Chiping district,for a 16-week experiment.During the experiment,the experimental group received Kabaddi exercise intervention four times a week,40 minutes each time for 16 weeks,while the control group received normal physical education,to explore the influence of kabaddi exercise on the physical quality of children aged 8-10 years old,and promote the popularization and promotion of kabaddi exercise in primary and secondary schools.Research results:(1)There were significant differences in the 50-meter fast running performance of children aged 8-10 years in the experimental group before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention(P<0.05);In the control group,there was a significant difference in the 50-meter fast running performance of children aged 8 and 10(P<0.05),but no significant difference in the 50-meter fast running performance of children aged 9(P>0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the scores of 8-10 years old children in the experimental group before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention(P>0.05);There was a significant difference in the scores of 10-year-old children in the control group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the scores of 8-9-year-old children in the control group(P>0.05).(3)There were significant differences in standing long jump scores of 8-10 years old children in the experimental group before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention(P<0.05);There were significant differences in 1min jump rope performance of 8-10 year old children in control group(P<0.05).(4)The lmin jump rope performance of 8-10 years old children in the experimental group was significantly different before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention(P<0.05);The results of 1-minute rope skipping of 8-10 year old children in control group were significantly different(P<0.05).(5)There were significant differences in sitting forward bending scores of children aged 9 and 10 years before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention in the experimental group(P<0.05);There were no significant differences in seated forward flexion scores of 8-10 years old children in control group(P>0.05).(6)The cross quadrant jump scores of 8-10 years old children in the experimental group were significantly different before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in cross quadrant jump scores of 8-10 years old children in control group(P>0.05).(7)There were significant differences in the performance of 8-10 year old children standing on one leg with eyes closed before and after Kabaddi exercise intervention in the experimental group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the performance of 8-10 year old children standing on one leg with eyes closed in control group(P>0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Kabaddi exercise lasting 16 weeks can improve the speed quality of 8-10 year old students;(2)Kabaddi exercise for 16 weeks did not significantly improve the upper body strength of 8-10 year old students;(3)Kabaddi exercise for 16 weeks can improve the lower extremity strength of 8-10 years old students;(4)Kabaddi exercise for 16 weeks can improve the endurance quality of 8-10 year old students;(5)Kabaddi exercise for 16 weeks can improve the flexibility of 9and 10-year-old students;(6)Kabaddi exercise lasting 16 weeks can improve the agility of 8-10 years old students;(7)Kabaddi exercise lasting 16 weeks can improve the balance quality of 8-10 year old students.
