Red tourism resources are a series of advanced cultural resources created by the people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in the process of Chinese revolution,construction,and reform.The great national spirit and strong educating value contained in them are valuable educational and teaching resources,which can be used for education and teaching.The China Dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is injected with strong spiritual power.Based on domestic and foreign literature research,under the background of responding to the New Curriculum Reform and the fundamental task of "Cultivating People with Morality",this thesis uses Questionnaires,Classroom Observation,Case Analysis,and other research methods to diagnose red tourism resources.There are problems in the application of tourism geography teaching in Senior High Schools.The reasons for the problems have been analyzed,optimization measures have been proposed,and teaching demonstrations have been carried out.The study found that the application of red tourism resources in senior high school tourism geography teaching have the following problems: The students:(1)Students have less interaction with their teachers in the classroom;(2)The geographical knowledge learned by students in the classroom but cannot be fully absorbed and applied;(3)The vast majority of students have less awareness of red tourism resources.The teachers:(1)Teachers are less aware of the use of red tourism resources;(2)Geography teachers use red tourism resources in geography classroom teaching less frequently;(3)Teaching time and teaching energy have become geography teachers integrating red tourism resources into geography classrooms main factors,etc.In order to optimize the current red tourism resources in the senior high school tourism geography teaching,in view of the problems existing in teachers and students,the author puts forward five teaching application strategies: 1.Strengthen the construction of senior high school red culture and create a red senior high school cultural environment;2.Change the teaching concept of geography teachers,support the local development of red resources;3.Promote the on-site teaching of red resources and create a red tourism teaching atmosphere;4.Innovate the teaching mode of tourism geography to improve the effectiveness of tourism geography teaching;5.Improve the evaluation systems of geography teaching and realize the scientific evaluation of geography teaching.In addition,this thesis also demonstrates the feasibility of the application of red tourism resources in tourism geography teaching in senior high school through the practice and practical effect evaluation of two courses of "Evaluation of Tourism Resources Development Conditions" and "Tourism Planning".
