At present,China’s new curriculum reform focuses on the cultivation of students’ key ability to adapt to the development of The Times,and focuses on students’ personal development,overall development and future development.The demand of geography discipline to implement the cultivation of geography core literacy in teaching is also increasing.In view of the environment of geography teaching in senior high schools,there are still many shallow teaching classes that only pay attention to knowledge imparting and skill cultivation,pay little attention to the educational value of geography,and pay little attention to the development of students’ key geographical ability and core geographical literacy.In-depth teaching is one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ core literacy and realize the educational value of the subject and develop the core literacy of the subject through the teaching of understanding,significance and development.Therefore,under the guidance of in-depth teaching theory,the current situation of in-depth teaching of senior high school geography is investigated,the existing problems of in-depth teaching of senior high school geography and cultivation of core literacy are summarized,and the in-depth teaching strategies of senior high school geography pointing to the cultivation of core literacy are proposed from three stages of pre-class,class and after-class.Based on the strategy construction of senior high school geography in-depth teaching mode pointing to core literacy,and carried out two in-depth teaching practices in senior high school,reflected on the shortcomings in teaching practice,and optimized teaching strategies.After practice,the teaching implementation effect is evaluated,and the in-depth teaching strategies and teaching suggestions conducive to the cultivation of geography core literacy in senior high schools are summarized.The conclusions are as follows:Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that there are still the following problems in the current in-depth geography teaching and cultivation of geography core literacy in senior high schools:(1)The level of students’ geography core literacy needs to be improved,especially the appeal of comprehensive thinking;(2)Teachers mainly pay attention to students’ mastery of basic geographic knowledge and skills,but not enough attention to the cultivation of students’ core geographic literacy,key geographical ability,higher-order thinking development and students’ evaluation;(3)Homework assigned by teachers lacks openness,interaction and inquiry;(4)The way of teachers’ evaluation of students’ learning is relatively simple.Through the analysis of the implementation and effect of the in-depth teaching of geography in senior high schools,this paper summarizes the in-depth teaching strategies that are beneficial to promoting the cultivation of geography core literacy.(1)The nature of knowledge and subject logic should be clarified before class,the progressive and in-depth teaching objectives should be set,and the pre-class learning task list should be prepared.(2)Introduce the meaning of knowledge in the class,and promote students’ deep understanding of knowledge and development of subject thinking by means of contact with real life,situational problems and modern information technology;(3)Create equal and open deep discourse interaction between teachers and students to promote the progress of thinking;(4)Select differentiated situational problems to consolidate and carry out variable training to expand problem solving ability;(5)Combine the situation material to infiltrate value education and implement the value of discipline education;(6)After class,assign interactive,open and research-based homework to evaluate the development level of students’ geographical core literacy.In the actual teaching,we should also integrate the actual learning situation and students’ interest in learning,and make appropriate adjustments to the creation of learning situation,the setting of questions and the way of asking questions,so as to arouse students’ enthusiasm in learning and improve the inner power of class.
