With the continuous upgrading of the information industry,the cultivation of students in vocational education has also changed to attach importance to students’ abilities,and at the same time,new challenges have been posed to the combination of teaching and information technology.The content of computer network course is relatively single and boring.The traditional teaching methods and teaching modes cannot improve the teaching efficiency of the classroom and the learning efficiency of students,while visual teaching can transform the complex and boring content into a way that students can easily understand.This study combines visualization teaching with the classroom of "Computer Network Technology and Application",and analyzes the feasibility of visualization teaching in the course of "Computer Network Technology and Application" in secondary vocational schools by studying the literature related to visualization teaching and using questionnaire survey method to understand the teaching status and problems of "Computer Network Technology and Application" course.Through the analysis of the textbook content,the visualization tools that should be adopted for different knowledge types are summarized and the visualization teaching design is carried out.Two parallel classes were selected for a one-semester teaching experiment in a secondary vocational school.The control class adopted traditional teaching and the experimental class adopted visual teaching,presenting knowledge to students through different visual tools,allowing students to carry out their own knowledge mapping,setting up group cooperation and work presentation.Conclusions were drawn from the analysis of the data from the practical teaching as well as the tests,verifying the feasibility of implementing visual teaching in the secondary vocational school "Computer Network Technology and Applications" course.The results of the study show that visual teaching changes the way knowledge is presented.For secondary vocational school students at the stage of thinking formation,this teaching method is undoubtedly conducive to improving students’ construction of knowledge,their interest in learning and learning efficiency,thus promoting the teaching efficiency of the classroom.
