As the base of culture, mathematics has a basic position in vocational education and it's important for students to learn their specialities and master the professional skills. However, in the mathematics teaching in vocational schools, it is a universal state being neglected by teachers that students are not motivated enough to study. Most students have to face the challenge of social jobs as soon as they graduate from vocational schools, so ability in motivated study will become more and more important in their work. How to use the present resources to motivate students in vocational schools and how to cultivate their ability in motivated study become a question that is being pay more and more attention to.Along with the rapid development of IT, Multi-media and internet technology have been applied to education widely. Its special advantages (such as sharing resources, correspondence teaching, effective support for independent and cooperative study, etc.) will be propitious to teach students according to their own characteristics, cultivate students'innovative spirits and increase their interests and motivities, let students improve their ability in motivate study. Teaching on internet is often applied to the school teaching. However, the present internet environment in vocational schools and the state of students themselves are not suitable for internet teaching. Then how to find a teaching method that suits students in vocational schools? This dissertation is to research how to use computer network as assistant means to help students with their study on point conic, cultivate their self-teaching ability and improve their academic results of point conic.The dissertation consists of three parts. The first part: the question of Internet-aiding point conic teaching, its theory base, exploration and investigation. This part is made up of three aspects.1.The background and motivation of the issue and its aim,significance and solution.2. The understanding of Internet-aiding point conic teaching.3. The sate and problems of Internet-aiding point conic teaching .The second part is about study and demonstration. It is made up of two aspects.1.The strategy, module analysis and teaching design of Internet-aiding point conic teaching.2. The teaching practice of Internet-aiding point conic teaching. 3. The analysis and summary, confirm is application and compare it with the traditional Internet-aiding point conic teaching. Combining with present state of schools'hard and soft wares, make the further prospect.According to the result of experiment, Internet-aiding point conic studying can have the following effects: it's good to increase learners'motivities, to improve the teaching quality of point conic, to cultivate skills and abilities in motivated study under the environment of Internet, to cultivate students'abilities in cooperative studying.
