With the deepening of the national curriculum reform,after-school services as a continuation and complement of classroom teaching are attracting more and more attention.In July 2021,the General Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Affairs Office of the State Council issued the "Double Reduction" policy,which clearly pointed out that schools should reduce the burden on students’ homework and duration,ensure after-school service hours,improve the quality of after-school services,expand after-school service channels,and meet the diverse needs of students."Double reduction" provides opportunities and space for the development of physical education after-school services,physical education after-school services are the vehicle for the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,it is the development needs of the times,how to enhance students’ interest in sports,develop students’ sports ability,improve students’ physical fitness,promote the balanced development of school education,and teach ecology in sports after-school services requires more research.In the more than one year since the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,how has the after-school service of elementary physical education progressed? Therefore,under the background of "double decline",this study examines the status of after-school physical education services in XX County Primary School in Liuzhou City,and proposes optimization strategies for existing problems.The study adopts literature methods,questionnaire methods,interview methods,data analysis methods and other research methods,takes the implementation status of physical education after-school services in elementary schools in Liuzhou XX District as the object of study,summarizes the implementation status of elementary school sports after-school services in XX District,Liuzhou City,and conducts a survey of students,physical education teachers and parents in primary schools in XX District,Liuzhou City,summarizing interviews with school leaders and proposing optimization strategies.Conclusion:(1)Through interviews and questionnaires,school leaders,physical education teachers,students and parents in XX District,Liuzhou City,believe that physical education after-school services can create school brand characteristics,adhere to teachers’ own professional development,improve students’ sports skills,and improve school physical health,and strongly support the development of physical education after-school services.Since the implementation has been carried out for more than one year,the good atmosphere of supporting and acknowledging the "double reduction" change has achieved remarkable results and reduced the burden on students to a certain extent.However,the understanding of physical education after-school services is still vague,and some parents and teachers feel that the reasons for affecting students’ learning and service quality are not supported.(2)Most schools have undergone major changes in physical education after-school services before and after the "double reduction",the attention of the school,the active participation of teachers,its own rules and regulations,management mechanisms,and clear fee standards to ensure that the physical education after-school service is open and strictly standardized.However,it is difficult to coordinate the needs of students,parents,and schools,and each parent and student has different needs for physical education after-school service content,indicating that there are still certain limitations in the service content.(3)Most schools are guided by physical education teachers and supplemented by sports interest teachers and external coaches,but with the rapid increase in the number of students participating in the "double reduction",there is a shortage of instructors,and the teaching and teaching ability of instructors is uneven,which affects the teaching quality of physical education after-school services.(4)All schools have set up various forms of physical education after-school service organization,but some schools only adopt the organizational form of one middle school,and some students do not like the current physical education after-school service organization form of the school,so they decide not to participate in the physical education after-school service.(5)Most teachers are very satisfied with the effectiveness of physical education after-school services,students have improved their interest in sports and improved their physical fitness,and after participating in physical education after-school services,parents become more positive and optimistic,so that they are more harmonious with their children and interact more often.In addition,due to the lack of indoor stadiums,which are easily affected by the weather and affect the sports effect,some people are not satisfied with the stadium facilities and development results.In response to the above problems,the following strategies are proposed:(1)Strengthen publicity and education and enhance ideological awareness.(2)Utilize potentially innovative content to meet the diverse needs of students.(3)coordinate and consolidate resources,and assign strong physical education teachers;(4)Expand organizational form and enhance students’ subjective initiative in learning.(5)Optimize the resources of venue facilities and create physical education conditions. |
