| The teaching material was an important part of the teaching activity,and it was one of the basic guarantee for the education to realize the goal of establishing moral integrity and raising people.In a scientific and objective way,the concept of writing the materials,the goal,the selection of the content,the overall arrangement and design of the materials,and the use of the materials were summarized and sorted out,which could improve the use value of the materials and the effect of students’ learning.At the same time,it was also an important basis for the reform of the teaching materials and the innovations of the materials.With the rapid development of the economic society,the requirements of professional education for talents were constantly increasing.From the national and local leaders at all levels,a series of documents were issued to guide the development of professional education to a higher quality.In 2021,the National Committee on teaching materials held a national prize for the first time.More than 900 kinds of teaching materials won the prize.The National Prize for the construction of teaching materials was the highest prize set up in the field of teaching materials,which was an important reflection of the support of the high quality education system.It could be seen that the country attached more and more importance to the teaching materials,which also showed that the teaching materials were getting more and more important in the teaching activities.In this way,it was necessary to make a scientific and reasonable analysis of the existing teaching materials,which would be of great significance to the construction of the teaching materials and the teaching reform in the future.At present,the academic circles were relatively mature in the fields of the preparation of textbooks,the way to present them,the reform of textbooks,and the comparison of different versions of textbooks.However,most of these studies were aimed at ordinary education textbooks,and only a few were specially aimed at the teaching materials of professional education.Therefore,people should pay more attention to the analysis of the teaching materials of the middle professional school.They should strengthen the analysis and construction of the existing teaching materials,and develop the excellent teaching materials that are more useful for teachers and students,which truly reflected the ideological nature and inheritance of the teaching materials in the teaching activities."China Tourism Geography" was a major core course of Tourism Management in a middle professional school.There were many versions of the teaching materials,and the level of editing of the teaching materials was uneven.The key points of the content were also different,so each school had its own choice of the teaching materials.Taking the teaching material of tourism management of the middle professional school,tourist geography of China as the research object,the quality and use of it were analyzed by text analysis and literature research.He analyzed the concept,structure,design,printing,and design of the materials in detail;On the other hand,the quality of the teaching materials was based on the standards of the teaching of the tourism management major of the middle career.They used the methods of investigation and interview to find out the problems in the use of the teaching materials and the suggestions for the improvement of the teaching materials.According to the text analysis of the teaching material and the investigation results of the teachers and students,the overall arrangement of the teaching material was guided by the needs of students’ career development,and based on the needs of the society for high-quality labor talents.The content of the teaching material emphasized the accumulation of students’ theoretical knowledge on tourism management,and it also had the advantages of simple and easy expression,rich content and style,moderate difficulty,and meeting the needs of students with different cognition levels,At the same time,there were also some shortcomings,such as the heavy share of theoretical knowledge,the few types of diagrams,the lack of clarity and beauty of the illustration,the lack of outstanding characteristics of the teaching materials,and the lack of participation in the courses and politics.In view of these shortcomings,under the guidance of the practical theory,Maslow’s hierarchy and the situation learning theory,the author and the user of the materials put forward two suggestions respectively: reducing the proportion of the theoretical knowledge,improving the quality of the illustration,increasing the type of use of the diagrams,increasing the content of the materials with modern information technology,and combining the characteristics of the regions to teach students according to their talent. |
