With the continuous development and expansion of tourism,the demand for tourism talents is also growing.Tourism education in secondary vocational schools,as a training of tourism professionals,is particularly important.Secondary vocational textbooks are one of the ways to reflect the teaching quality of secondary vocational education.The compilation of textbooks should be in line with the students' learning level,closing to the reality,and keeping pace with the development of contemporary tourism.Therefore,the analysis of textbooks is very important.The textbook "Introduction to Tourism",published by Higher Education Agency and edited by Shao Shigang,is a national planning textbook for vocational education during the 12 th Five-Year Plan period.It is the basis for students majoring in tourism to understand tourism and its development.It is also a textbook currently used by tourism majors in secondary vocational schools.At present,there are many studies on textbook compilation,textbook design,textbook analysis and so on,but they are generally applied to the subject textbooks of ordinary middle schools,among which there are few textbooks specially for secondary vocational schools.Therefore,more work should be done to enrich this field in the analysis and research of textbooks in secondary vocational schools.Strengthen the analysis and compilation of textbooks,improve the textbooks suitable for secondary vocational students,in order to truly achieve the training objectives of secondary vocational education.Based on the analysis of the practicability,pertinence and frontier of the textbook Introduction to Tourism published by Higher Education Publishing House,and on the basis of many peoples' research,this paper collects,collates and analyses the literature materials by using the method of literature research,summarizes the current situation of textbook analysis and studies,and clarifies the research items according to the theories of research courses and textbooks,situational teaching and competency-based education.And content,explore research ideas and methods;use text analysis method to conduct a comprehensive and profound analysis of the knowledge content and structure of the "Introduction to Tourism" textbook,found that the textbook has the advantages of simple knowledge content,rich activity settings,teaching objectives can basically be achieved,but there are also insufficient comprehensive knowledge content,single and too few case types,part of the number.According to the lack of updating,this paper puts forward some optimization suggestions,such as increasing the knowledge content of textbooks,flexibly setting up the activity board,updating data and content,by using the experience summary method.
