After the release of the "Physics Curriculum Standards for Secondary Vocational and Technical Schools(2020 Edition)",it can be known that high-quality skilled talents are inseparable from the cultivation of scientific thinking,and the primary education students in secondary normal colleges and universities will become primary school teachers after graduation.Their relationship It depends on the level of scientific thinking ability of the next generation of students in our country.Therefore,in the physics teaching of secondary normal colleges and universities(hereinafter referred to as secondary teachers),cultivating students’ practical ability and scientific thinking ability is an inevitable requirement for students’ development.Then in the physics teaching of secondary normal colleges,it is necessary to cultivate the scientific thinking ability of these future primary school teachers.The science education courses in primary schools have an enlightening effect on the development of students’ scientific thinking,but the current physics teaching in secondary normal colleges lacks the cultivation of the scientific thinking ability of future primary school teachers,and the teaching of physics experiments is generally ignored.For demonstration experiments in the classroom,very few teachers are willing to let students do experiments in the laboratory,while most of the students in middle school are from rural areas,and some students have not even been exposed to physical experiments.In addition,there is still a lack of case designs related to the physics experiments of the Chinese Normal University.Experiment is the foundation of physics,an important way to cultivate students’ learning methods,scientific thinking and hands-on ability,and an indispensable part of completing teaching activities.Aiming at the lack of training of the scientific thinking ability of future primary school teachers in normal colleges and universities,and the neglect of physical experiment teaching by teachers,this paper carries out a practical research on cultivating students’ scientific thinking in the physical experimental teaching of secondary normal schools.First of all,this paper has a basic understanding of the research status of physical experiments and scientific thinking at home and abroad,and classifies the physical experiments and scientific thinking.At the same time,the dimensions of the questionnaire are designed according to the classification of scientific thinking,and the current situation of scientific thinking ability of middle school students is investigated.Secondly,this paper uses the case study method,combines Richard Suchman’s inquiry teaching theory,Dewey’s "learning by doing" theory and constructivism theory,and designs several typical experiments for cultivating students’ scientific thinking in the experimental teaching of physics in middle school.teaching sample.Guide students to think about how to design experiments through the method of problem-based teaching,and cultivate students’ ability to conduct independent experiments.Select one of the classes and use the designed teaching case to teach the experimental class.This class is the experimental class,and the other class is the control class(using traditional teaching methods).After a semester of practice,the analysis of students’ performance in class found that physics experiment teaching can mobilize the enthusiasm and hands-on ability of middle school students in learning.Finally,the scientific thinking ability test paper was designed by using the questionnaire method,and the control class and the experimental class were investigated again,and it was found that the scientific thinking ability of the students in the experimental class improved and surpassed that of the students in the control class.While participating in experiments,middle school students can not only exercise their hands-on ability,but also deepen their understanding of physical knowledge and physical laws through obvious experimental phenomena,thereby improving the efficiency of physics classes and students’ scientific thinking ability.From this,it can be concluded that in the middle school physics teaching,conducting physics experiments can improve students’ enthusiasm for class and exercise students’ hands-on ability,thereby improving students’ scientific thinking ability,which is very helpful for them to engage in primary school teaching in the future.Apply the knowledge and methods learned to future primary school teaching.This paper puts forward some teaching strategies to improve the scientific thinking ability of middle school students through physical experiment teaching,and designs several typical teaching cases for experimental teaching,hoping to provide some reference for the teaching of middle school physics teachers.
