Research On The Application Of Anti-epidemic Spirit In The Teaching Of Politics And The Rule Of Law In High School

In October 2022,the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held.In the report,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to "Carry forward the spiritual pedigree of Chinese Communists with the great Party building spirit as its source.".The spirit of fighting the epidemic belongs to the great spirit approved by the Party Central Committee and sorted out by the Central Propaganda Department,which is the first batch of great spirits included in the spiritual lineage of Chinese Communists.On February 16,2023,the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held a meeting,during which it proposed to cherish the important achievements of the fight against the epidemic and tell the story of China’s fight against the epidemic.Moreover,on March 13,2023,Premier Li Qiang of The State Council made the following response to the epidemic prevention and control at the press conference after the closing of the first session of the 14 th National People’s Congress: "With one heart and one mind,the fight against the epidemic has now achieved a major and decisive victory.Over the past three years and more,we have always put people and life first.Practice has proved that China’s epidemic prevention and control strategies are completely correct and the prevention and control measures have achieved great results."Therefore,as one of the great spirits of the spiritual lineage of the Communist Party of China,the spirit of fighting the epidemic reflects the great practice of the Chinese people’s solidarity in fighting the epidemic,and it is also the inheritance and innovation of the national spirit and the spirit of The Times in the new era.Therefore,the value of the anti-epidemic spirit is not limited to the period of the epidemic.After the epidemic is brought under control,the anti-epidemic spirit will still become the spiritual pillar of social development and provide impetus for social development.In addition,as a matter of students’ personal experience,the anti-epidemic spirit can arouse their emotional resonance.If the anti-epidemic spirit is applied in the teaching of Politics and the Rule of Law in high school,students can understand the relevant knowledge of the Party,the government and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics in a real situation,and form the core quality of the subject,so as to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and educating people in the ideological and political courses in high school.In order to deeply understand the application of anti-epidemic spirit in the teaching of Politics and the Rule of Law in high school,this paper expounds the generation logic,scientific connotation and compatibility of anti-epidemic spirit with Politics and the Rule of Law in high school,and expounds the significance of the application of anti-epidemic spirit in Politics and the Rule of Law in high school.On this basis,students’ questionnaires,teachers’ questionnaires,teachers’ interviews and other methods were comprehensively used to investigate and analyze the application of the anti-epidemic spirit in Politics and the Rule of Law in high schools.The survey showed that: Most teachers are able to use the spirit of fighting the epidemic,and schools pay more attention to the publicity and education of the spirit of fighting the epidemic.However,the survey also reflects the following major problems in the application of the spirit of fighting the epidemic in the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law in high schools: students’ understanding of the spirit of fighting the epidemic is not deep enough,and the effect needs to be enhanced;Some teachers’ teaching methods are fixed,and their application needs to be innovated.The teaching dimension of some teachers is not extended enough,and the teaching needs to be in-depth.In view of the above problems,this paper expounds the causes of the problems from three aspects and puts forward the optimization strategy of applying the anti-epidemic spirit to the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law in high school from the dimensions of students,teachers,combination points,teaching methods and teaching design,and writes the teaching design of the first frame of the second lesson of Politics and Rule of Law in the compulsory third political textbook in high school,"Always adhere to the people as the center".To further verify the feasibility of applying the anti-epidemic spirit to the teaching of Politics and Rule of Law in high school.The results showed that the application of anti-epidemic spirit in the teaching of Politics and the Rule of Law in high school could not only impart knowledge about the Party,the government and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics to students,but also cultivate the core quality of the subject through the anti-epidemic spirit.For example,students could identify with the Communist Party of China and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics through "life comes first and the whole nation is united".Through "risking life and death,sharing fate",students can participate in social public affairs methodically and consciously fulfill their civic obligations;Teach students to respect and obey the law through " Respect Science".This article takes this as the idea,and provides reference for the application of anti-epidemic spirit in the teaching of Politics and the Rule of Law in high school.
