As an important participant in the process of promoting social governance,social organizations have maintained a rapid development speed in recent years.However,behind the rapid development,social organizations are also facing a series of potential problems.Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic in 2020,social organizations generally have some problems,such as shortage of funds,stagnation of project services,increase of staff turnover rate,etc.Some social organizations have threatened their own survival because they can’t respond effectively.However,in reality,there are also some social organizations that can fully reflect on their own lack of development with the help of the crisis event of epidemic situation,and make further development through targeted adjustment.For these social organizations,how did they overcome the negative impact of the COVID-19 and successfully realize their own development "turning crisis into opportunity"?Through the literature review,it is found that the current academic research on the development of social organizations pays more attention to the normal development situation,but little attention is paid to the organizational action research under the crisis situation.To some extent,the focus on this situation can make up for the lack of current research on the development of social organizations.In this paper,the theory of resilience is used to carry out related research,Although this theroy has been widely used in many disciplines,it is relatively rare in the related research of social organizations.On the basis of clarifying the theoretical basis,the author selects Chaoyang social organization as the research object,and through qualitative research methods such as participatory observation and in-depth interview,pays attention to the action choices made by Chaoyang social organization in order to solve the realistic predicament under the crisis situation,and then explores the resilience construction of social organizations under the crisis situation.It is found that the process of Chaoyang social organizations’ coping with the development dilemma under the epidemic situation involves three resilience construction logics:fund accumulation as material foundation,professional consciousness as internal drive,and internal management as normative guarantee.Specifically,the accumulation of funds requires the center to further expand the sources of funds and establish a more diversified fund system.Professions consciously pay attention to the optimization and demand matching process of enhancing the professional service ability of the center in crisis situations,while internal governance aims to help the center improve the existing internal management system by checking leaks and filling vacancies.Chaoyang social organization has made efforts to build organizational resilience through three aspects,and achieved the development of "turning crisis into opportunity".Finally,the author reflects on the applicability of the research on social organization actions in crisis situations from the perspective of resilience,and discusses the shortcomings of this research and the direction that can be further promoted in the future,with a view to theoretically and practically constructing the development strategies of social organizations in crisis situations.
